House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., is calling for the removal of Columbia University President Dr. Nemat "Minouche" Shafik, after a mob of anti-Israel agitators took over an academic building early Tuesday morning.

In a letter sent on Tuesday to David Greenwald and Clair Shipman, both co-chairs of the Trustees of Columbia University, Stefanik called the "chaos that has engulfed" the campus for weeks, reaching new levels early that morning when Hamilton Hall was "stormed, defaced and taken over," preventable.

So far, it’s been all talk and no action from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and her threat to call a vote to remove House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.

A phalanx of reporters peppered Greene with questions as she left the U.S. Capitol Tuesday about why she didn’t trigger her resolution to dump Johnson or if she had a sense of what would prompt her to act against the Speaker.

"Have you made a decision yet on when to move ahead?" hollered one scribe.

"Are your threats kind of a blank right now when you do anything with your resolution?" asked...

Prosecutors are setting the stage for crucial testimony from Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen, who arranged hush money payments on Trump's behalf before going to prison for campaign finance violations and other crimes.

Trump denies any wrongdoing and has pleaded not guilty.

The sharp increase in so-called unmaskings, to more than 31,300 times, arose from attempts by foreign hackers to infiltrate the computer systems of critical infrastructure — not individual people, officials said. In particular, a single intelligence report last year identified a “large number”...
