    Is this some conspiracy?

You do realize that the DOJ and the Select Committee are two different entities and not part of the same branch of government. And that all evidence used at trial, would be maintained by the DOJ. And that the Select Committee couldn't prosecute anybody. Right?
Cool. So the evidence used by the committee is still available, the DOJ has it?

Did you see the video from January 6th? There were a lot of criminal acts. Many haven’t been prosecuted due to lack of evidence. Those that have, were convicted by a jury of their peers.
I have seen some but not all are available to view. There were indeed a lot of criminal acts committed that day.
Many were innocent is what you were trying to say.
What is the penalty for federal trespassing?

People that trespassed were not prosecuted. There were about 150 people that attacked policemen, and many more that destroyed property. It was a travesty of Justice to pardon them. Since Trump thinks they did it for him, he doesn’t care that they didn’t deserve pardons. His pardons send the message that violence is okay.

It's almost like some/most of these folks are just criminals...

An Indiana man recently pardoned by President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol has been shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop.

Just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over 42-year-old Matthew Huttle of Hobart, Indiana State Police said in news release.

While trying to arrest Huttle, police say he resisted and began struggling with the deputy.

"An altercation took place between the suspect and the officer, which resulted in the officer firing his weapon and fatally wounding the suspect," police said.

Police added that Huttle "was in possession of a firearm" during the traffic stop but did not say whether he wielded the weapon or where exactly it was found.

    Don't resist.
