Harris takes digs at Trump in first visit to campaign headquarters

Vice President Kamala Harris said Monday that she knows how to take on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in her first campaign remarks since President Joe Biden announced he will no longer seek re-election.

Speaking at her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, Harris went after Trump, drawing on her time as a prosecutor before she ran for office in California.

“I took on perpetrators of all kinds,” she said, including “predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain.”
