@superchuck500 you still have faith in the legal system and the guardrails?

Because im losing what little faith i had left.
The DOJ is a lost cause now.

The only thing that I think could stop all of this nonsense is for the a large majority of the federal government to stand up and say no more bullshirt. I'm not sure how that could happen, but it would require huge organization efforts without giving away the game plan. Don't know if that's even possible.

    Department of "Justice" ..... :smilielol:.

The employees of the federal bureaucracy needs to plan a mass walk out day or week. All of them all at once. Just leave all of the political appointments to do everything and let the dumpster fire ensue. Want to fly somewhere? Sorry, no TSA or air traffic controllers. Want to go to a national park? Sorry, they all had to shut down. Want some important business matter handled? Sorry, nobody is there to help. Need VA care? Ohhh, I'm so sorry ... maybe next time. Want the President protected with SS agents ... Opps, too bad.

It would cripple this country. Maybe then Americans will wake up to its importance and place in our society and advocate on their behalf against the current administration of fascist.

Holy sheet, Sassoon decapitated the birch, ran over the body and backed over her for good measure, multiple times.

    Slaying with words.
Bondi diminished the DoJ the very moment she issued those memos that described its attorneys as the President's attorneys. From that moment, she betrayed the Office of the Attorney General by declaring an allegiance to an individual and not The United States of America, which the Judicial act of 1789 demands.

DOJ is an executive branch agency. Though it functions far better when it puts the law ahead of politics, it is nonetheless a politically led agency.

It’s not the same thing as guardrails. Certainly the breadth and volume of Trump’s executive abuses are unprecedented and threatening. There are the threads of an emerging constitutional crisis.

I’m anxious and angry. But I haven’t seen enough yet to lose faith in guardrails in the system (yet).

This right here is the problem with DOJ's center becoming too political over legal: the advocacy suffers. And as advocacy suffers, the mission of the agency fails . . . so it is therefore contrary to the agency's mission to value politics over law.

These resignations aren’t just from deep-state staffers at DOJ - they're from ideological conservatives who were elevated to acting positions after Trump's inauguration. And their resumes are strong.

Sassoon clerked for Justice Scalia. Scotten clerked for Justice Roberts.
Now, if we a had a real Congress, Pam Bondi would be the shortest term AG in history.
