Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) is circulating a petitionfor his supporters to sign to deport a fellow member of Congress, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
Gil had previously called on Omar to be deported, arguing she is more loyal to undocumented immigrants in the United States from her native Somalia than to the United States.
The petition and an email circulated by Gill were first reported by Axios.
Omar became a U.S. citizen in 2000 after fleeing her native country due to civil war. The Minnesota representative has been the target of Republican insults following her staunch criticism of President Trump during his first administration.
“Friend, we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country. And frankly, America would be a much better place if she were to be sent back to Somalia,” Gill wrote in the email which included a picture of him next to President Trump. As in the past, he criticized Omar for discussing how to evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
“Recently, it came out that Ilhan Omar is hosting free workshops for Somalians, who are in our country illegally, on how to evade ICE and deportation. It could not be more blatant: Ilhan Omar is more loyal to illegal Somalians than she is to the United States, or the office she was elected to,” he added.…….

He refused to extend Starlink coverage beyond the current war zone to cover Crimea and the Black Sea. Seems like it would be a request that should have been approved and made by the U.S. government. He didn’t shut anything down. When he found out they were using it to hit Russian targets.

It wasn’t his decision to make, and how do you know the US government hadn’t approved it? You don’t. He most certainly did shut down systems, they were working and then they quit. The article headline literally says Musk admits he turned off StarLink access. He refused to extend Starlink coverage beyond the current war zone to cover Crimea and the Black Sea. Probably because they identify with said sociopath. It wasn’t his decision to make, and how do you know the US government hadn’t approved it? You don’t. Now talk about him sending StarLinks to Russia so they could use them against Ukraine.
I don’t know why anyone would defend this sociopath.
Sad, but likely true.Probably because they identify with said sociopath.
And the actual text doesn’t say what the headline says which is not that unusual. Headlines are often deceptive. Nowhere in the actual story does it say he shut off service. He refused to extend the range far south to Sevastopol. If the U S government had approved it we’d know. No government official has said it was approved for Spacex to extend the range. Russian black market.
I repeat, there’s no way to know what the US Government wanted in this case. No way. And for you to say we’d know is just kind of crazy, since there would be no way they would have ever released that information publicly with tensions the way they were. And the actual text doesn’t say what the headline says which is not that unusual. Unfortunately, he not only thinks he is, Trump has allowed him to become government.I repeat, there’s no way to know what the US Government wanted in this case. No way. It wasn’t Musk’s decision to make. On what authority did he make the decision? He’s not the US Government.
Anyone defending that fool needs to get their head checked. Here is a more recent report. Musk threatened to cut off all StarLink service to Ukraine at one point, even though he was compensated by the US Government for those services. This is a Musk special skill, acting like he is giving stuff and then getting US taxpayers to foot the bill. It’s from WaPo:
“The issue has renewed Ukrainian frustrations over Elon Musk, SpaceX’s mercurial chief executive. Some of the soldiers criticized Musk by name, saying his company has not done enough to crack down on illicit use and casting doubt on his desire to fix the problem, saying he appears to have favorable views toward Russia.
SpaceX provided free Starlink connection to Ukraine after Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022 but then threatened to cut service following online spats with diplomats, citing the high costs. Musk relented under public pressure and then sent the bill to the Pentagon, the most recent totaling $14.1 million for six months of service through next month.”

No. Congressional Republicans own that responsibility along with their voters!Unfortunately, he not only thinks he is, Trump has allowed him to become government.
True. They bear ultimate responsibility. Their unwillingness to see the psychologically damaged orange imbecile for what he is, is astoundingly stupid.No. Congressional Republicans own that responsibility along with their voters!
