Yes of course. There are already laws being proposed in various states to do away with no-fault divorce. They don’t want women to be able to leave their marriages.
That would simply ban one avenue albeit an extremely important one. The next step would be to allow only men to file followed by criminalization if women attempt to file for any reason or for leaving their husband for any reason.

That would clearly violate the equal protection clause.
 
A lot of things violate that clause, and yet they happen.
The current administration has shown something less than deference to the judiciary unless it rules in their favor.
 
Commander Barron has a nice ring to it, and JD Vance looks like one of the extras on HMT hoping to be a commander one day.

The result of that would be a lot less marriages. Women would chose to stay single or living in an open relationsship rather than getting married
