What will happen now that former President Donald Trump was found guilty (in 34 counts) by the jury?
    *
Speculation on the judge relating to sentencing?
    *
    Appeals?
    *
    Political Damage?

    For the legal experts:

“The jury got it wrong” is not grounds for appeal, right?

And the appellate courts don’t typically overturn verdicts because they don’t agree with what the jury found?

12 jurors...unanimous vertict. No getting around it. I'm sure he'll appeal, but now what?
I heard one of the lawyers make a point - that criminal defendants are very seldom allowed to remain free during their appeals. So what will they do in his case? Sentencing of course could be a month away or so…and he doesn’t have to get prison time, although a unanimous verdict of guilty on all counts would certainly argue for some jail time. After all, Cohen did some time for his part in this.

Since some of this was done while he was in office, wouldn't it make him impeachable if he was ever in office again? Is impeachment limited to things he did the current term?
