Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

This isn't up for debate. This came directly from his twitter account.

I wonder why he didn't say that when he was interviewed today.

So 4 out of 44 Senators have called for Biden to step down. 40 Senators out of 44 haven't. That's not up for debate either.

He’s unconvincing. He claims the donors don’t speak for the 14 million that voted for Biden, but I’ve seen polls that upwards of 60% of democrats think Biden should leave the race. I don’t know what percent of the 14 Mil think that way, but I bet it’s close to 60%, so I would say the donors are representative. He claims the debate is not a justification, which would be true if he was giving inspired performances since then. He points to the good job Biden has done, but he doesn’t address the concerns about Biden repeating that in another term. He claims Trump’s mind is cheese, but that just makes it sad that the election is so close. Why don’t a majority want to vote against the criminal, dangerous, cheese for brains? You would think he would be polling at under 30%. He says any change will result in lawsuits, but that’s not true. Harris would not cause a lawsuit if she gets the nomination before the convention ends. He also claims those that want change think Trump is better, which is also not true. Most don’t, but most recognize that we seem to be losing with the status quo. We know Trump is horrible and think he would be easy to beat with many other candidates. We also know Biden is unlikely to get better, because the trend is not good.
He was convincing, he convinced me that his views are very similar to my views.

The wealthy donors views are clearly NOT representative of the views of most of the primary voters of his demographic group.

Not representative of my demographic group either.

    Your argument is not convincing.

What he talked about was a decision happening quickly.

To me, that's a not very subtle "Joe you need to drop out soon."

Then again we disagreed on Pelosi's statements last week. I felt she wasn't being very subtle as well.

So a very small minority of all the Senators that count have called for Biden to step down. Let's keep this in an accurate perspective.
Yes and it's unprecedented as far as anything I've ever seen in my lifetime. That is a large part of my perspective.

Has Pelosi publicly said Biden should drop out or is it still "sources say privately Pelosi...."

I don't know what anyone in private is saying. I also know not to put my faith in what "sources say" people are saying in private.

I look forward to this being resolved. I have a suspicion that if Biden doesn't drop out, some people will be so upset they didn't get their way, they will complain about it all the way up to the election. I'm not referring to anyone on this board.

I guess you believe the calls to step down are going to stop.
Just the opposite. I think if Biden stays in, people will very publicly complain about not getting their way all the way to election day.

If Biden steps down, I think his supporters will get behind the replacement, because Biden's supporters aren't a bunch of spoiled brats who think they are entitled to get whatever they want. Again, I'm not referring to anyone on this board.

People keep saying this like those calling for Biden to step down won't support him if he doesn't. It's the opposite and they've said that publicly.

This constant insulting is just wrong.

The Nancy/Obama/Schumer/Jeffries leaks all hit the same day, and were coordinated.

I think most of us are operating from the same place where we just want to beat Trump.. there's just pretty entrenched disagreement on how we do that.

They all count but it's certainly of interest that a fourth senator from the incumbent's own party has called for him to step aside within four months of the election.
Yes....and some people keep referring to the millions of people who voted for Biden in the primaries. Yet how about we be real about that? Those voters hadn't seen the infamous debate and then all the recent "blunders" or "gaffes" that have been seen/heard since then. It would seem reasonable that many of the people that voted for President Biden would not do so if they were voting this Tuesday.

If I had a dime for every time people said the damn broke, then I'd have thirty cents now. It remains to be seen if that goes up to forty cents or not.

The dam did break the day Pelosi/Schumer/Obama/Jeffries went public with their private meetings.

I would just say that those 40 who haven't said he needs to get out, how many of them have said Biden needs to stay in? Some surely don't want to make their position known yet, imo. So, seems it's still TBD at this point.
