This could go in several threads but deserves one of its own. Apparently, the suspect got into the home and was looking for the Speaker. The police saw some of the attack and the spouse is in surgery. Social media accounts point to him being an election denier. This is pretty forked up.

Two sources tell CBS News a hammer was used by the assailant to break into Pelosi's home. The House speaker was not there at the time, according to her office.

Yeah I don't really have a lot to add actually to my original post.. was really just saying that we're all guilty, if you will, of 'virtue signaling' all the freakin' time regardless of our political affiliation, religious beliefs, or whatever else.

Did it not cross your reading that there is video of the man breaking into the back of the home? What is the point of doing this? Paul Pelosi had an unstable man come into his bedroom while he was sleeping looking for his wife. He was agitated and Paul was trying to keep him calm.

Your guy was probably suspended for trying to make this into a sordid conspiracy story, rather than reporting the facts.
