Today it begins, Kamala has reached the point that she's the Democratic Party nominee:

There's video from today. this link has video from her first public appearance since Biden endorsed her:

She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

She's renamed her YouTube channel, that's the where to go for video: https://www.youtube.com/@kamalaharris

This is her video on her channel from two hours ago:

To play it, start it, and then move it up to 5:47. This was one of those live videos which don't start at zero.

I've named this thread General Election 2024 Harris vs Trump

Trump needs an introduction post as well, a MAGA suporter ought to write it: @Farb, @SaintForLife , @Others, calling for someone to please introduce your GOP candidate for this 2024 general election thread.

Speaking of ridiculous. The Trump campaign is just floundering. They can’t make Trump into a real candidate - so all they have is ridiculous attacks, Trump using AI to pretend Taylor Swift has endorsed him and now using a Beyoncé song (the one she okayed for Harris to use) without permission.

What a joke he is.

Trump is responsible for what happened during the Biden-Harris administration?

if your home builder put your plumbing in, faulty, and 2 years later you call another plumber out who comes in to fix, but cant, are you blaming the current plumber or the the original plumber/builder?

we know the answer.

The early response being so bad essentially “baked the cake” for the pandemic. This is speaking from a medical infectious disease standpoint. You only get one brief window of time to get the pandemic response off to a good start - and Trump absolutely squandered it.

Once that happened - we just had to wait it out until vaccines, meds, and treatments caught up. Biden actually picked up a very stalled vaccine rollout and made it work in a way that nobody in the Trump Admin could have done. They were all obsessed by then with Trump’s pathological response to losing the election.

I completely forgot that Harris/Walz are doing a rally today in the same venue where the RNC was held. Looks like a good crowd:

Meanwhile the Trump campaign seems to be breaking some election laws? Along with some LEOs?

Okay so Trump actually seemed almost sedated at Howell, MI for his “press conference” where he spoke for 50 minutes, took one (1) question and departed. lol.

Donald Trump said Tuesday he would be open to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. playing a role in his administration if the independent candidate drops out of the 2024 race and endorses the former president.

I like him and I respect him,” Trump told CNN’s Kristen Holmes in an interview after a campaign stop in Michigan.
“He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time,” Trump said. “I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it.”

Trump’s comments came after Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said on a podcast posted Tuesday that the Kennedy campaign is considering dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump. She described the decision as one intended to reduce “the risk” that Vice President Kamala Harris defeats Trump.

Trump said he would “love that endorsement, because I’ve always liked” Kennedy Jr.

Asked if he would consider appointing Kennedy Jr. to a role in his administration if he wins in November, Trump said he “probably would.”

“I like him a lot. I respect him a lot,” Trump said. “I probably would, if something like that would happen. He’s a very different kind of a guy — a very smart guy. And, yeah, I would be honored by that endorsement, certainly.”

The former president also downplayed the potential for backlash from Republicans for appointing Kennedy Jr., who has taken a number of progressive positions.

“I like smart people, and Republicans like me,” Trump said……..

trump only picks the best loonies. ya, we have seen Trump's examples of smart people a lot of them went to jail for being so smart.

Yeah, at least RFK, Jr’s running mate is clear about why he may drop out - because he thinks he is hurting Trump’s chances. It was always a campaign op by Bannon to try to take away votes from Biden. At least they’re admitting it out in the open now.

Bad news for Harris for the election and the FDA and Big pharma if he gets a job in Trump's administration.

You can see RFK Jr's poll numbers drop from 6% the moment Harris entered the race. She likely pulled his 2% left leaning group as Trump polling didn't change much. RFK Jr still has 4% which is probably mostly right leaning. His dropping out likely bumps Trump 2% and moves most swing states back to Trump.

Bad news for the health of people. Good news for the return of measles and other diseases that are under control by vaccines.
Yeah really. Who would support radical ideas like this?

These are: reversing the chronic disease epidemic, ending the war machine, cleaning corporate influence out of government and toxic pollution out of the environment, protecting freedom of speech, and ending politicization of enforcement agencies.

Are you for continuing those policies?
