CNN interviewed this "undecided" voter from Ohio who said he's decided to vote for Trump because he thinks it was unfair for Joe Biden to blame Trump for the COVID deaths in the country.
WTH?
Circling back to Ward's 14 year old daughter watching the debate--I would never let my children watch that because they should not believe that it is okay to behave the way the President of the United States does. If they did they would lose all of their friends and be disciplined at school. And our reaction is that Joe Biden didn't clap back epically enough about porn stars, etc. I don't know if it's social media to blame or reality TV or what but there is something truly wrong here.
Looks like the next two debates are going to be a waste of time as well.
Trump's goal is to just wreck the thing and it's damn near impossible to stop someone from doing that.
Just use a really big gong tow drown him out... Actually that probably wouldn't work. It would just be non-stop gong sounds
Trump: I've been speaking to the government of Nininigeria for months about a deal.
I just read this thread. First, I agree that Biden started slow, but finished stronger. I was concerned during the first 15-20 minutes.
Trump...well... just wow. Right now he is losing. I know, I know...but 2016. There were a lot more undecideds at this point in the election in 2016. Most people have made up their minds, and there just isn't enough undecideds to swing toward Trump to make up the difference in my opinion. Therefore, Trump needs to pull some Biden voters away or convince ALL of the undecideds to vote for him--and that did not happen last night. If anything, he sent undecideds toward Biden.
I watched CNN and FoxNews coverage last night. Hannity was talking about how "sleepy Joe got steamrolled." The Trump supporters that only watch FoxNews will believe that is what happened. The rest of the world is talking about how Trump couldn't denounce racism. Even if you are a Trump supporter and believe that he did, or didn't understand the question or whatever, the fact is that the talking points today are that Trump didn't denounce racism.
Who won the debate is always determined by what is being talked about the next day. Today, it is Trump acting a fool, and his refusal to denounce racism. Trump lost that debate--bad. He solidified his base support, but he gained nothing. In fact, he lost ground. For someone behind with a month to go and people already voting, he completely failed last night.
I look at this like the second half of a football game. Everyone gets the ball 3 more times. Trump is down by 10 and he needs to get some points on the board. His drive fizzled out and Biden was able to run time off the clock with out scoring anything. Now there are two drives left and he has to score 7 points on the next debate or he is going to have to hope for an onside, pick six or some other miracle play to get back in the game.Who won the debate is always determined by what is being talked about the next day. Today, it is Trump acting a fool, and his refusal to denounce racism. Trump lost that debate--bad. He solidified his base support, but he gained nothing. In fact, he lost ground. Oh and I don’t know if it was posted but Trump mentioned Portland’s sheriff endorsing him.
First, Portland doesn’t have a Sherrif, Multnomah County does. And he has tweeted (I don’t have Twitter) that he not only didn’t endorse him, he doesn’t support him and never would. He went on to say his life and job has been made so much more difficult since Trump started talking about Portland and sending unwanted “help”
It looks like some changes are on the horizon.
So, any undecideds change their minds tonight?
LMAO
