Let’s be honest, I’m a true Reagan Republican, I’m not a Trump Republican and what we saw tonight goes against everything I stand for as a conservative. Trump has destroyed my party and everything that is important to me starting with faith, freedom and family. So I’m triggered, I’m frustrated and I’m tired of having crap to vote for!
Well, to be fair, he didn't destroy your party by himself. Republicans are responsible for everything that has happen these past four years and if they truly cared about us all, they would have put an end to his buffoonery in 2017 but instead, they embraced it.

I feel you there, Krod. We have to get rid of Trump, and anyone who is painting Biden as a socialist is on drugs. He is someone we all need to support right now to get rid of Trump.

i can deal with Biden, hell he is closer to a true Republican than most of our party is now. He is catering to the left to get in but I think he will be right down the middle while inoffice. It’s a good time for the Republican Party to find itself. To many Republicans are scared to speak up because of Trumps wrath. It will change very quickly when he is gone.

Listen to his stupid voice for a single minute, I’ll let my wife give me the condensed version tomorrow on our morning walk. But from what I’ve read on my Facebook feed, Joe didn’t do too bad. Hell for that matter a three-year-old would’ve done better than T rump

Fine people on both sides amirte?
When one side is white supremacists, then no, there are not fine people on both sides. People that deserve to be treated as human beings, yes. People that are fine as neighbors and fellow citizens, not by any stretch of the imagination.

I hope you are right, but I have my doubts. In order to truly purge this stink we have to get rid of the worst enablers as well. McConnell, Graham, etc. The list is longer than it should be. The caving of almost the entire R party was, IMO, worse than Trump. They have embraced his dangerous inclinations, they know what he is and how he is damaging our institutions, and they still do nothing. They don’t use the power they have to hold him accountable. It was astounding and eye-opening.

if some were undecided, and had to decide from this debate, I think It'd be clear who they would choose. I'm not undecided, I'm not voting for either.

Once again another election and debates and what do we learn? That sadly, once again these are the best 2 candidates that we can come up with. We should be ashamed of ourselves as Americans that we can’t do better. But then again would anyone worthy of being president want to put their family through such utter destruction. Even if they didn’t do something wrong people would make stuff up.

I’m all for throwing everyone out that ran in the primaries and running now and start over. If we can get a justice in in 2 weeks we can find a new president in 5 weeks.
Biden is far and away a much better candidate than Trump and a decent candidate even without comparison.

There is zero equivalence between Trump and Biden as candidates and I didn't even want Biden to get the nomination.

The difference between Trump and Biden is like the difference between milk laced with cyanide and milk from a cow that ate some bitterweed. One may not taste so good, but it's still palatable and nutritious. The other one will kill you.

You know that the media and Democrats still lie about what he actually said about Charlottesville right? He specifically denounced the white supremacists and said he was talking about the people protesting the statue removal for the good people on both sides.

Hope that both sides moral cookie tastes really good and provides a great story to your kids as one candidate attempts to tear down the oldest democracy in the world and you were able to proudly declare I’m better than that

Hey buddy, i needed to cool off for a little while and get my head on straight. I’ve finally hit my breaking point with Trump and our party needs a change. I know a lot of political insiders on the right and believe me they are like me and want him out. The focus right now is on the senate. The Republicans need to hold on to that more than president at this point.
I'd have been ok with that if the Republican Senate wasn't so obstructionist and willing to break all kinds of rules.

Glad the break helped a bit though.

CNN had Harris on and asked her about packing the court, and like Biden tonight, she didn’t answer either.

Me thinks they don’t plan on packing the court, nor will they address it because they don’t want to lose votes.

sadly I truly think thatRepublicans are more scared of the Democrats going AOC left than they are about Trump. The reason the Dems couldn’t be Trump in 16 and will struggle now is because like Trump won’t condemn racism the Dems won’t condemn socialism. That’s a big fear for many whether it’s true or not. It’s real easy to say hey look, I love America, I believe in the constitution and our republic, I’m not looking to change the constitution or our way of life, I’m looking to get us back on track somewhere in the middle of left and right where 90% of Americans fall. Yes they would lose the extremes of their party but they’d pick up more in the middle and independents

Which is strange because Trump does enough dog whistling to white supremacists on his own that no distortion is required. I agree Democrats do a disservice every time they gin up one thing Trump says because most of the rest of what he says speaks for itself. Who tells a crowd -- outside of Nuremberg circa 1940 -- they have 'good genes?'
