This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

There is some discussion of this on Twitter. What do you all think?

Those people are actual candidates?!? I wouldn’t hire that one lady in the white whatever dress to run the night shift at Carl’s Jr. seriously she can’t even talk.

I remember reading an article in the Denver Post (I think) when her dad was VP.

The article was about her mulling running for office for the first time.

But mostly it was about how she was even further to the right than the VP and held troubling views. “I really hope the people of Wyoming aren’t dumb enough to elect her.” I said to myself.

Now these years later, I hope the people of Wyoming aren’t dumb enough not to.

Saw a funny tweet which I will try to paraphrase:

I’ll bet Liz Cheney had a moment where she couldn’t believe she was sharing a stage with those idiots and wanted to shoot them all in the face, as is family tradition.

Sadly, she’s behind in the polling, by a lot, to the short haired glasses lady, who is endorsed by Trump.

It might be smart for more level headed republicans and democrats to run as independent.
Possibly. Even better for Democrats in obvious red states to register as Republican and vote in the GOP primary. Unfortunately as long as Trump is alive his endorsement is worth tens of thousands of votes based on name recognition and unthinking and unwavering support alone.

Interesting comment by Bolton. Paraphrasing: Perhaps Liz Chenny should consider running for president herself.

I see that as a possibility.
Everyone viewing this kindly set aside what YOU want and answer this from a GOP perspective please...thank you.😁 (See next post)

Would a 2024 ticket with DeSantis at the top and Liz Cheney as the VP have a chance of uniting the Republican party? Helping to bridge the gap between current Trump supporters and anti Trump people like me?
