This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

There is some discussion of this on Twitter. What do you all think?

One one hand, it’s good to hear a GOP senator be candid about fear of MAGA and Trump. On the other hand, do your job. Do what you swore to do.

This is why I keep thinking the gop is counting down till Trump’s last day too.

Oh good grief, I’d totally forgotten about this moron. 🤦‍♀️

Oh, and we just seem to have memory-holed the revelation that Benny Johnson is taking orders straight from Russia didnt we?

The Republican dream is incompatible with the American Dream. Here's Lutnick sharing his thoughts about inherited jobs for the future American workers.

Republican senators are concerned about the prospect of Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene running in the state’s GOP senateprimary ahead of next year’s race against Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff.

Greene has said she’s considering running for Senate or governor next year, sharing her confidence that she would win a primary.

This comes as Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp has announced that he won’t challenge Ossoff.

Republican senators note that she would have a good chance of winning the GOP nomination because of her strong support among Trumpvoters and national profile.

However, there are concerns among some that Greene may very well win the primary but lose the general election against Ossoff, much like former NFL player Herschel Walker, who won the Republican nomination for Georgia’s other U.S. Senate seat in 2022 but lost the general election to Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock.…….

The White House is working to adopt policies to allow Americans to have more babies, even as it cuts back on federally funded day care.

That’s because they want a stronger family unit, which they argue comes from one parent staying home.

White House staffers have discussed several options for encouraging parents to stay home with their children, three people who have been part of the discussions told The New York Times.

Ideas being discussed include giving families more money for each child they have, removing federal tax credits for day care, and opening up federal lands for home construction. Advocates argue that if families can spend less on housing, more of them will be able to live on a single income.…….
