This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

There is some discussion of this on Twitter. What do you all think?

It is interesting. The one town nearby where I live has KFC, Slim Chicken’s, Cane’s and a Popeye’s just opened. Of course, it is an exit on the Ohio Turnpike with a lot of hotels but 4 chicken restaurants is a bit much.
We have a Cane's but not exactly close. It's like 30-40 minutes away. Otherwise I'd pick them over CFA more often than not.

An actress I follow on Twitter has been giving this some thought. Yvette Nicole Brown, in case it matters. She has come up with a theory. It’s a bit conspiratorial, yet not really whacky either. I copied it due to length.

    “My 6AM thoughts:

JD Vance was the plan for President by the #HeritageFoundation all along.

    It was NEVER about Trump.

Please realize that the Republicans are good at one thing — besides greed, racism and hatred — and it’s the long game for ultimate power.

I couldn’t figure out WHY that weirdo was SO cocky with his hatefulness.

It’s because he KNOWS HE will be President a month after a Trump inauguration.

    25th Amendment, baby.

    Also:

The corrupt and bought Supreme Court created immunity for VANCE, not Trump.

What Vance and Thiel and the Heritage Foundation have planned will need it.

All Trump needs is a broad pardon that will keep him out of jail. Staying out of jail was his only goal in running.

He’s already got the secrets to sell to get more money.

Y’all better realize what’s actually happening and get everybody you know to vote #HarrisWalz!

You think a Trump Presidency is bad. Take 40 years off him and add more malevolent evil.

    Vance also isn’t dumb.

    He’s arrogant, unscrupulous & charm-free. But he’s not dumb.

Which makes Vance WAY more dangerous.

His whole life he’s shape-shifted to fit the agenda & his goals. His look, his name…even his preferences & proclivities are mutable.

    HE’s the snake.

    THINK, people.

Make sure you and your friends are registered and vote like your life and the freedoms you love depend on it.

    They 👏🏾 DO 👏🏾!”
Vance is just one of Thiel's tech bros clan's lackey. When Trump announced Vance as his VP, I figured that Trump wouldn't be allowed to be president for very long if Trump wins.

The local mall food court has a Popeyes physically adjacent to Chick-fil-A. Seems odd.

Now I'll never eat at Arby's again, even if it's just the curly fries.

And that will be the end, at least for a while, of that sorry arse party. I say for a while, because the millions willing to vote for Trump will find another Cult leader, but admittedly it will be tough to find someone who out crazy’s Donny and can get elected…

Unfortunately I think Musk will be waiting in the wings - We are lucky he isn't born american.

At first glance, new billboards in Arizona look like Chick-fil-A’s iconic “Eat Mor Chikin” promos. But instead of cows, the billboards erected Tuesday feature four cats dressed in cow costumes.

“EAT LESS KITTENS,” the billboards say. “Vote Republican!”

Arizona’s Republican Party announced Tuesday that it had designed about a dozen of the billboards in the Phoenix area in response to false claims shared by some top Republicans that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were eating Americans’ pets. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who plans to visit Arizona on Thursday, amplified those claims at an ABC News debate on Tuesday, despite police telling local news outlets that there was no evidence of anyone eating pets.

In a news release, the Arizona GOP said the billboards are “a humorous, but sobering reminder of the stakes involved in the fight for secure borders and safe communities.”

“Our newest billboard highlights just how horrific things have become under the failed policies of ‘Border Czar’ Kamala Harris,” Arizona GOP Chair Gina Swoboda said in a statement, referring to the vice president and Democratic presidential nominee’s role in the Biden administration working with three Central American countries to reduce unauthorized migration. “Trump is committed to securing our borders and ensuring that what we’ve seen elsewhere does not become the norm in our country.”.............

They are going to get people killed. All it takes is a crazy neighbor who is missing a cat and we'll see a tragedy happening. Then it will be "thoughts and prayers" and "we didn't do anything" -"it is not about guns" and "mental illness not us"

Don’t forget the cries of free speech

“We had the constitutional right to say what we said, people are in control of their own actions”

Or the Sidney “The Krakken” Powell” maneuver

“What we were saying was so stupid and unbelievable we didn’t think anyone would actually believe it”

Next I imagine PLDonny suggesting that Taylor Swift’s right to Free Speech be suspended cause she does not like him…🤔
