What happens to the Republican Party now? (2 Viewers)

This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

they are desperate - the entire lot of them.

They recognize that their time to grab power is slipping past them, about to return them to the margins of society. The amount of chaos within the "movement" we are now witnessing, is evidence of this starting to unravel. So they are now left with having to truly ramp up the rhetoric to levels they hadnt before. ( jailing journalists, immigrants eating pets/21million crossing boarder, Harris is a Marxist, socialist and crazy person etc etc )

The problem for them now is they cant go back. It HAS to be more extreme than the last, to keep their core supporters in a frenzy. Cannot allow them time to think rationally and logically ( the distraction ) in order to keep them "engaged".

The MOMENT they lose the momentum and attention from their CORE, is when they officially "jump the shark" in their endeavor.
Even some of their supporters, SOME not ALL, will see some of this rhetoric as a bridge too far and slowly start peeling themselves away from the entire clown show.

Will take time, but starting to see cracks in the facade.

I have to believe there is a contingent within the GOP that is awaiting the moment of vulnerability to start pushing these folks out. When that moment comes, im not sure, but it will be evident and play out for all to see. I suspect they would like to do it quietly, but i dont think Trump et al will return to the margins willfully - could be a loud exit.

Question....can divorce papers be submitted "in secret" - in light of the lack of Melania sightings with Trump and the clear indication of Loomer seemingly cozying up to Trump over the last week, i had been wondering if Melania hasnt filed for separation ( or whatever its called ) and if so, could it be done in a way that doesnt get public?

As I understand it, you don't have to trumpet it to the hills, but the official documents do have to be recorded at the county seat. With tabloids constantly on the lookout, it'd be next to impossible for Melania to file anything without it being revealed.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they've renegotiated her contract so to speak more than once over the last couple of years. Shes clearly not happy with him, and I'm sure her prenup has terms for when and how she can leave (timing, as well as what she can say when she inevitably leaves him).

Yeah, that's possible, but I'm pretty sure his estate is going to be a mess. I think she could use his election and his need to appear like a family guy (although I'm shocked anybody buys that) for the election to extract higher payments from him now, and then once the election is over, still get the money and not have to deal with him anymore.

It is interesting. The one town nearby where I live has KFC, Slim Chicken’s, Cane’s and a Popeye’s just opened. Of course, it is an exit on the Ohio Turnpike with a lot of hotels but 4 chicken restaurants is a bit much.
