He lost me at "If there is any chance whatsoever that Joe Biden will be the next President", there is not a chance, he is the President-Elect. The only reason that would change is if there was a successful coup by trump and the only way that can happen is if these cowards like Sen. Alexander continue to let this farce continue.
Pretty much how I feel as well. you put it better than I was being able to in response to sbtb.

He’s retiring from Congress, but may have other political ambitions or want to be a lobbyist.
And I get your point that there wasn't anything really wrong with the statement... But weaker than the moment calls for and certainly would be better if more of these statements resembled Romney's.

It's funny how the trump team keeps saying over and over and over again that Democrats are trying to steal the election, all while they are actually trying to steal the election. Irony is always lost on them.
That's on page 2 of the Conservative Playbook, I think: accuse others repeatedly of what you yourself are actually doing.

I don’t disagree. I prefer stronger statements right now while the most fundamental aspect of our democracy is facing an unprecedented assault. Some of the statements have been terrible though, and that one was just milk toast. Not good, but not bad.

Yes, but the margin narrowed by 1700 votes and you know that’s what Trumpettes will focus on.
I'm pretty sure that those were all Republican heavy counties. I know for a fact Floyd is; I live within 20 minutes of Floyd county.

Thinking that democrats can do something nefarious to affect an election in Floyd county to the tune of losing 2700 ballots to not be counted (which netted Trump 877 or so votes) is like thinking that a fish can do something nefarious to affect the way leaves grow on a tree.

There you go with your facts and details again. You're 100% right, but not one single solitary Trump supporter will ever know what you just laid out. They will only see 1700 votes for Trump and think 10 more recounts and he wins.

It wouldn't surprise me too much if Republican election official(s) there did this purposefully to sow this distrust.
