Not long ago Kari Lake proclaimed Arizona's abortion law was a great law and wanted it the law of the state.

Now that she has gotten her way, she is lobbying for it to be repealed.

As I have been saying since 2022, the overwhelming vast majority of women aren't going to vote for the man who proudly boasts that he got rid of Roe V. Wade. Nor are those women going to vote for a forced birther politician.

Turns out, republican belief in "pro life" was all just lies to get votes. Who is surprised? I sure am not.

How many forced birthers will do the same about face?

Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake is actively lobbying state lawmakers to overturn a 160-year-old law she once supported that bans abortion in almost all cases, a source with knowledge of her efforts told CNN.

Just to be clear, no gay is going to go to a professed homophobe to order their wedding cake.

Still, these fights are worth fighting anyway just so we don't have to put up with the BS of being discriminated against by bigots. The more acceptance, forced or willingly, the faster we can move past the BS and on to a better society with less bigotry. It works every time.
You do realize 'the gays' are the one that keep trying to make this dude bake their cake, don't you?

You had me basically agreeing with to a point until 'forced acceptance'. That is doesn't sound very American. Force thought is not on the list for any real American.

Except when it’s your ideas, then forcing everyone to obey your religious principles is just fine.

Obviously not. Heck, I am against abortion too. The difference is on how I approach it: I want women empowered to control their bodies so they don't get to the point they need abortions unless their health and lives are threaten, not enact laws that will control their bodies for them, and in many cases, harm them, because of a belief not founded on science.
Yep. I agree. That is why I always bring up the 'legal, safe and rare'.

It’s part of the false narrative being pushed by forced birth folks. Along with the mythical 9th month abortion of a healthy baby, and the myth that the majority of abortions are done for ”convenience”.

It‘s a malignant narrative that dehumanizes ordinary women and devalues their lives. All while ignoring the facts that these people don’t care if some women die because of their willingness to exert control over women. And that they look the other way when their allies murder a doctor while attending his church, send anthrax to a medical climic or fire bomb medical facilities.

Nobody actually likes abortion. They only want to be left alone and to be allowed to make their own decisions about their own bodies. Free will. Promised to all by their religion.

and yes, the vast, vast majority of folks who want to deny women the right to control their own bodies are doing it because of religious zealotry. It’s just a fact.
It is a myth that the vast majority of abortions are done for convenience. You do know that less 1% of all abortions preformed are due to medical necessity? I will say it again, you all had safe, legal and rare abortions but that was not enough.

    Mythical 9 month abortion:

Here is information of a Doctor that preforms these abortions that don't exist (from what I read, only 2 women have died so

Your facts don't stack up. Sorry.

MT clearly said "the mythical 9th month abortion of a healthy baby". The first link you provided is clearly discussing "termination of a desired pregnancy that has developed serious complications". These are not the same thing and you damn well know that.

Yep. Groomers are groomers and the groomers infiltrated the church and it took a lot of sunlight from outside sources to finally cripple that evil. Now I hope the same sunlight will also be shined on the infiltration of our public school system in this country. Here to hoping since they have seemed to have infiltrated local, state and federal governments.

Cripple that evil? Hahahahhahahhahh......its still happening....but I guess anything to deflect attention away from your pathetic excuse for a church and religion will do.....

It's not forced thought. Nobody really cares what they guy thinks or believes. It's just, if you're going to have a business open to the public, then you can not discriminate, plain and simple. So it's forced acceptance of non-discrimination government policy.

So you're conflating actual, documented sex crimes with Dave the kindergarten teacher answering questions about his wedding pictures?

Nobody believes that you are attempting to converse honestly. You’re just furthering propaganda from some very evil sources.

Any day that a prior religion/sect/civilization/culture used cannot be reused in the future by any other?
It's not about the day, it is the practice. Pagan holidays and practices were appropriated by Christians and given dates that fit the Christian calendar to compel people of conquered lands into Christianity, like the decorated tree for Christmas, or the MX day of the dead/day of all saints.
Is that your argument or is this a passive aggressive way of arguing that the Christian faith is no better than the worship of woodland fairy and such?

Why are you so quick to dismiss the woodland fairy? Religious faith is religious faith, no matter who or what one worships.

So you're conflating actual, documented sex crimes with Dave the kindergarten teacher answering questions about his wedding pictures?

C'mon, its plain as day here, the oldest right wing religious wacko playbook play....the ole accuse others of doing what you are doing....it would be humiliating if those folks had the capacity to feel shame or even have a conscious of some kind....

To an extent I can see, but with the new talking point of if a business is open to the public, I can't make that make sense in my head. Businesses discriminate all the time. If you don't have enough money, they won't provide the service. If they are not wearing a shoes, or a shirt, that is also a form of discrimination. What you are trying to argue, I think, is that they can't discriminate against a 'protected class of people'. My opinion is by creating 'protected classes' based on characteristics that are choices and not characteristics assigned at birth (color of skin, genitalia ect..) then you will create an unfair society in the blind attempt to create a fair society.
Why does a gay couple gain more points in the 'protected class' game than a religious baker who only wants to not participate in something, basically be left alone?

You don’t agree with that at all, unless you have recently changed your beliefs.
I don't believe it personally or I don't believe it in relation of laws in this country? 2 very different things that I have been more than firm on but I will reiterate.
I think, personally, there is no place for abortion in a society. I think it is murder.
I also believe that in this country of religious liberty, my personal, moral and religious views should not be enacted into law because many of the heathens ;) I share this country with don't think the same so a comprise has to happen. That is the beauty of a representative democracy.

Does that help clear it up for you?

Ok, I stand corrected, but then you would also be ok if we banned all other abortions'? Keep abortion for the less than 1% of cases but ban all abortions' as a form of birth control?

    I know....
    https://nypost.com/2022/12/09/chicago-prep-school-kids-given-dildos-and-butt-plugs-dean-says/
The dean of students at an elite, $42,000-a-year Chicago prep school has been filmed bragging about kids playing with “dildos and butt plugs” in class while getting tips on having “queer sex.”

Joseph Bruno was secretly filmed by Project Veritas talking about the Pride Week event at Francis W. Parker School that included a visit by drag queen Alexis Bevels.

An LGBTQ+ Health Center came in and “they were passing around butt plugs and dildos to my students — talking about queer sex, using lube versus using spit,” Bruno said.

Your priests and priestess are doing on a daily basis it seems.
