Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

I think there's definitely some validity to his argument, which is essentially that if it's increasingly obvious that you aren't the strongest candidate to defeat Trump, you should really consider stepping aside.

I don't think even most Democrats think Biden is the strongest candidate they can offer to defeat Trump. The problem is, they don't really have anyone else.
And back to the Biden situation - I don't know if I agree with Costas/Maher on timing...I think it may be too late. 'Stepping aside' now may just completely cement Biden as frail and unfair or not - unable to lead.

I don't think Democrats have any choice. I'm sure a big concern is how Biden will appear during the debates, but it's not like a lot of voters won't already have their minds made up.

Kamala Harris? I think she'd definitely be a stronger candidate. But she also isn't wildly popular. Maybe Buttigieg. Idk.

It's too late in the election season to change the horses. Biden and/or Harris are the only possible candidates.

A new person entering the race now would start out flat footed in terms of fund raising. Having no campaign money at this late date would create an impossible situation.

Harris would have Biden's campaign money, and his campaign machine if he died or dropped out, they put them in both names for a reason and that was the reason. Harris is not only his VP, she is his political heiress.

However I would reason that Biden and Harris together if he is alive are a better team and will do better than Harris would be going it alone.

I'm pretty upset by the pop shots I've been reading about that Biden is currently taking from the far left lefties. With friends like them one doesn't need an enemy.

I'm no longer interested in what that idiot Beto O’Rourke has to say.

I'm like sure, have your stupid temper tantrum, and degrade Biden before the election by indulging in that mindless nonsense such that Trump stands a better chance to win.

    Wtf is with these people?

Thankless is the work we far left leftist radical lefties do. But hey, someone's gotta keep the DINO's in check ;)

There aren't candidates stronger than Biden against Trump. Which polls have shown that any other Democrat is stronger than Biden against Trump?

Not that I have strong faith in polls, but you'd think there would be at least one.

I'm not saying out of the available field - just saying that the Democratic party could/should have a stronger representation against Trump.

    Someone younger, bolder platform, etc

The "when they go low, we go high" thing.

At this point, though, I don't know that it'd work to go after Trump for being senile and demented.

Had Rubio not backed down from "small hands" and Hillary not apologized for "basket of deplorables", we probably are not in this mess.
¡Jeb! Had a golden, perfect opportunity to end Trump when Donnie asked him "Am I deranged?"
    The answer is YES!

There are all different kinds of takes. I've heard worse than that one.
Not really, not if you listened to Lawrence O’Donnell explain the primary system. It’s the king of idiotic takes at this point in time, it definitely puts Trump in the WH.

    Hero!!!

That's David W. Brant. He walked in the no-til pioneering footprints of Edward H. Faulkner, carrying that soil conservation torch forward for another generation.

I know that he wasn't of Farm Bureau, i.e. a Republican, they would have hated him. They don't like soil conservationists.

But I don't know for sure that he was of Farmers Union either, i.e. a Democrat. I would assume he was a member, but I don't know.

    (I'm of Farmers Union.)

    -----

Edward H. Faulkner was the author of the Great American Classic Plowman's Folly. That's a book I've had on my shelf for the last 40 years.

The problem is Biden may put Trump in the WH and as time marches on the more concerned I become about that very thing.

Outside of the whole voting / not voting issue..

In your opinion...What could these people do if they wanted to stop things like Israel's US-funded genocide of Gazans from happening?
Remove Bibi and remove Hamas, Hezbollah and the radicals in Iran.

The Middleeast is far more complex. It is not complicated, it is complex. There is a world of difference. What, exactly, will happen re: US funded Israel’s genocide (a talking point , nothing more) stopping? Not one GD thing. The Middleeast has been a mess since the end of WW1. The Arab nations abandoned the Arabs living in Palestine when Israel was created. The continued for decades to ignore them. All they cared about was trying to destroy Israel. And they failed every damn time. Then Israel decided that they could do whatever the flock they wanted to do followed by Arafat then the idiot mullahs in Iran, Hezbollah etc ad nauseum ad infinitum. Nobody, NOBODY, who are power holders wants to do anything about the Middleeast. The criminal Bibi wants to stay out of jail so he escalates the mess. Hamas idiots screech about “from the river to the sea” which Bibi spews as well showing they are both criminals. Sure, Biden can demand whatever he wants publicly. He can engage in diplomacy privately but Bibi’s goal of staying out of jail throws a monkey wrench into the mess.

If you think what’s happened in Gaza is just a “talking point”, and not genocide.. I’ve got some oceanfront property to sell you in Arizona as they say.

Guess that’s where repubs and many dems seem oddly united in this pro Israel stance. Israel has held an apartheid state racist regime against the Palestinian people at least since 1948.

There is no “both sides”. Hamas is guilty, but so is Israel.. much more so, if you care about actual lives lost to terrorism per side.
