    Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
    He is getting up there in age.

    You can believe whatever you want. I have been posting here for 2.5 years that both men are unacceptable. Democrats are amazing for supporting their mentally aging President. MAGAs are morons for not abandoning Trump. I just wanna give up because I can't see why we are in this no win-Biden vs Trump situation. Really...really ...disgusted!

    The only democrat that Trump could beat is Biden. The only Republican that Biden could be is Trump.

    Yet, somehow we ended up choosing between the two worst options each side had to offer.

    If Haley is NOT the GOP nominee in November but Trump is, then I would look over the 3rd party candidates and try to select one.

    It’s clear to me that a vote for Trump is a vote for the destruction of the United States of America as we know it and as it was created as an ideal, never attained, but was moving in the right direction until the 1980s. If you look at Republican Party leadership they may hate Trump, but they (enough of them) are vested in him as their path to hold onto power regardless of the cost to the Nation. And the Republican Party’s shift from anti-Russian Hawks, to Pro Russia is the clearest sign that this party is dead, has been assimilated by the Peice of work sociopath, Donald Trump.

    The problem with Haley, besides being part of the walking dead GOP is the lies she knowingly spouts to try to appeal to her base, such as “the US has never been a racist country”, which undermines her as a general election candidate.

    Ref: Both are unacceptable. If it comes down to these 2 men, if you are pragmatic, Biden is the clear choice, unless you are part of the “if I can’t get my way, let’s burn it down” crowd which seem to prevail on the Right..

    Biden is pro-America. He has empathy, understands, and actually conforms to the officially defined role of President.

    Besides being a corrupt, incompetent, self destructive, fascist, sociopath, megalomaniac, and wanna-be mob boss or emperor (your choice), who actually believes as President, he can have opponents assassinated with impunity, Trump is pro-Trump period, and the rest of us are here to be his servants or co-conspirators.

    A smart younger Democrat like Beto or Buttigieg, would better serve the Country if they or there was one in a position to run, who would beat Trump as the Republican Candidate.

    Let’s be clear, Trump as President was, is, and would be a dire threat to the Nation as President, round 2.

    However, the reality is the reference GOP/Republican should be stuck, replaced by the MAGGA label. The Republican Party is dead, exists in name only, and that Donald Trump will be the MAGGA candidate, unless he is convicted before the election. And the Democrat Candidate will be Joe Biden, who under these circumstances will best serve the Democratic Party and the Nation at this point in time if he blocks a second Trump presidency.

    Did you notice in my earlier post I did exactly as you've now mentioned?
    I referred to Democrats and MAGAs.
    The Republican Party I used to be familiar with has vanished.

    The polling shows any Republican other then Trump vs Biden wins by double digits.

    The polling shows any Democrat other then Biden vs Trump wins by double digits.

    My biggest takeaway is that the parties are both diverging wildly from the overall American population.

    I would prefer Gavin Newsom if I could pick a realistic candidate.

    My choice would be Whitmer right now. Although she'd be better in 4 years.

    Democracy died when the national security state convinced politicians to fabricate an illegal war in Iraq under false pretenses of Saddam having WMD's. We need a complete reboot in the USA, Democrats and Republicans need to be thrown away and a party that is willing to actually fix a number of crisis needs to rise from its ashes. The new government needs strict term limits, preventing those elected from earning any money outside of their salaries. Housing crisis, wages, proper healthcare, a massive reform of family and tax laws.


    Public service should be annoying, it should never be a cushy job that someone wants to do for decades and then leave as millionaires. The ardent cult of left vs right is dooming this country.
