Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

Is Kamala Harris a liability or Joe Biden’s secret weapon? It depends who you talk to — but the sentiments in Bidenworld trend toward the latter.

It’s unclear, then, what the campaign’s latest moves mean.

Recent polling shows that support for Mr Biden is slipping among Black voters in key swing states. Clearly, if Ms Harris is needed anywhere, it’s there: Her popularity among Black voters — especially Black women voters — is well-known.

Yet she has instead been deployed repeatedly in recent weeks to South Carolina, a state that will have absolutely zero impact on the November election.

Ms Harris took two separate trips there this month alone, for a total of eight since she became vice president in January 2021.

When The Independent accompanied the vice president on one of those excursions — a visit to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to speak to a Black women’s group on the anniversary of the January 6 attack on the Capitol — the room where she spoke was packed to the rafters. More than 1,200 members were there to hear her. Before she even entered the room, they gave her a standing ovation.

After taking the stage, Ms Harris launched into what has become a standard version of her stump speech, which began with her crediting her audience for Mr Biden’s 2020 election victory.

“It is because of you that Joe Biden is President of the United States and I am the first Black woman to be Vice President of the United States. And so I’m here of course to say thank you for your work and your leadership and your vision for what is possible for our nation,” she said.…..

I can agree with the national primary. But I will disagree with you that the change was made to help Biden. He’s the incumbent, he doesn’t need the help. It was done to help future candidates be more diverse.

I just want to say that if the point is to make candidates more diverse, then it is also a terrible mistake.

We want candidates that can win nationally.

SC has over 2x the percentage of black voters than the national average. It's not really any more representative of the country than New Hampshire, it is just overrepresents a different segment of the population.

Well, yes, and NH and Iowa had their turn. Let a different state go first for a while.

The more the media talks about Trumps possiblity about winning, i am hoping it light a fire under the less likely to vote crowd. The more its talked about and pushed, the more people will show up at the polls against him. I don't want the ones who are like, meh, Biden has this crowd to get complacent.

I know it may annoy some people here who want to pretend everything is fine right now, but I am very, very worried that Biden is walking into an absolute shellacking at the hands of Trump-Ramaswamy.

Yeah, I think it's obvious that Vivek, who I think is an absolute shill and dishonest politician as I've ever seen (though I will give him credit for showing up to interviews and engaging with people) will be the VP pick. And people LOVE him. He's no 'where's mother' vanilla Mike Pence. He gets people excited. And so does Trump. Yikes.

Young voters were already less enthused with Biden before the Israel-Gaza thing. Now, even less so. An economic situation that hasn't gotten much better, a few failed promises (student loans), some notable climate wins but also a few odd concessions...

And the most important factor - young people on the OTHER side of the aisle are arguably more passionate about another Trump presidency than a Biden one.

Biden just doesn't captivate young voters. He had the 'against fascism' surge amongst young folks in 2020. I am worried that has been dulled - even though Biden has had some undeniably great accomplishments - maybe some of the best to date...that doesn't matter if you can't captivate the young people.

We can say that polls don't matter or aren't as indicative this early on. To that I do agree - but I think they do paint a picture of enthusiasm. Right now, Georgia and Arizona, pivotal states in Biden's '20 victory, are seemingly very passionately in the Trump court.

I'll say it before and say it once more - Democrats need a different lineup if they hope to win this year. Seeing as though there aren't any real challengers and we're on our way to February, I am VERY worried that another Trump presidency is imminent. And we won't be able to sit back and bicker about "not seeing this coming".
I agree that we need younger politicians for the top spots, not crusty old white men, but if the younger generation can’t see the threat represented by The Head Liar and The GOP MAGA then maybe a few robust Fascist years will help adjust their perspective. 🤔

FWIW, these thought patterns are more common than you think. I overheard some guys at the sports bar last night saying something similar:

Don't tell me Pres. Biden is not getting senile.
Some say: "He's fine. He just has a stutter."
    No.
He just referred to Trump as the "Sitting President"

That's just a minor word mix up, not evidence of being senile. Did he repeat that numerous time?

Biden know he's the sitting president and Trump is the former president.

Lets have a rundown of every president who blunders like this.. lets see, that would be EVERY SINGLE one... lol...

A Monmouth University Poll found 76% of voters feel that Biden is too old to serve another term.
    Is that a surprise?

I’d say that 76% of Biden’s media coverage has been a mixture of “he’s too old” and “is he too old?”

And Trump has had at least as many senior moment gaffes

And most of Biden’s seem to be slip of the tongue or slight forgetfulness whereas Trumps are of the “what the fork are you talking about?!” variety
