Maybe if you looked at it as 60% of children that would have ended up in a dumpster or scientific testing will have a chance to live would make you feel better?
The State compelling a woman to carry a child to term is Orwellian regardless of the silver lining one tries to spin on it. Basing laws on a book which may very well be entirely fictional is also a bad idea.

If God exists then I'm sure He/She/They will sort of the evil transgressors, right? In the meantime, render unto Caesar.

But then... when they're born and alive and whatnot... forget about them because we can't be socialists!!!
If you make bad decision in life, chances are high your life will follow the path of those bad decisions.

The state compels people to not do all kind of things, murder included. So I am not following your logic.

You do. You're just being snarky. Which is what you do, so I totally get it.

Caring only about 'the sanctity of life' in the general sense but not actually caring about that life after it's out of the womb seems wildly inconsistent and screams of political-religious indoctrination. I wouldn't think Jesus would agree with that philosophy.

you are talking about killing a child
    Holy hyperbole, Farb.

It’s not killing a child, it is terminating a fetus. It’s the same thing that happens to more than half of all pregnancies naturally via miscarriage — many of which could be prevented if all pregnant mothers received free prenatal healthcare/counseling and vitamins/supplements, but there’s a certain group who is steadfastly against such things that nobody talks about very much when arguing about fetuses that get terminated.

Have you noticed how the state's never going to go after Epstein and Maxwell's aristocratic johns who our legal system aided and abetted for decades? Or how we lionize vigilantes who support state sponsored violence against black folk? Logic has nothing to do with any of it.

    This is ridiculous.

It's so sad that I can't tell if he really doesn't know or if he's just trolling.

Or maybe he's just proving Republicans are anti-education and anti-science.
Careful, you're bordering on abusive language there.

Yes, I believe in self agency just as your lord Jesus did as well, free will and all that nonsense.

    What is a fetus?

A zygote is not human life, correct? Then what is it?
