So if you give consent to maybe carry a baby (decide to commit the act that is designed to make a baby) but then it interferes with your social calendar, you can kill it? That doesn't sound like consent. That sounds like murder in my opinion
You need to check the definition of *murder*I don't believe consent for murder of an innocent is actually consent at all.
You are actually asking if killing an innocent person is considered murder?I already know my thoughts. I asked for yours. Yes or no, Farb?

What have I missed? You need to check the definition of *murder*
So the act leads to pregnancy? Again, is this a new development in human history or has this been pretty standard since we lived in a cave?Too bad. A woman can say "Stop" in the middle of said act. She can say "stop" at any time during the ensuing nine months. That's how consent works.
I do think abortion is the murder of a baby. By the definition of the word murder (that I apparently don't understand). So if you can't get past the idea that abortion is birth control, then there is no debate to be had. I agree with that premise. If you believe that abortion is murder, then there should not be any circumstances where you would accept it being legal.
It would still be murder if the life of the mother was at risk, or if a 14 year old got pregnant because her father raped her. In both of those cases the baby would still be an innocent life that did nothing to warrant it's murder.
If you can't get past the point of abortion=baby murder, then there isn't really any debate to be had.

This is true. I think the disconnect on this debate is on the fundamental level so I don't expect to change a mind and I know I won't change mine. Agree to disagree and all that but it will have to be voted/discussed politically at some pointYea, that's my point.
Why even discuss it.
Unlawful or human being is the word you are sticking to?Did you check the definition?
Hint: double click the word “murder” to highlight it then right click (at least in Chrome browser), or highlight the word then “look up” on mobile.
There’s a pertinent word in the meaning of “murder.”
So the cause of the problem is irrelevant?Irrelevant
The cause? It doesn't matter if they just randomly hooked up or spent two months tracking ovulations and doing the deed at every opportunity specifically in order to concieve. So the cause of the problem is irrelevant?
No wonder the left never actually fixes anything.
