I’ve posted articles from CNN and others, even today.

The way they went after Kavanaugh, acted at the hearings etc. I absolutely take issue with how that was handled.

As I’ve also ‘railed on and on about’ I respect your right to not think as I do. And to make your points as you see fit. I encourage everyone to do that, whether I agree with their POV or not.

Pretending they were made up? Hell, they were totally fabricated and each new one was even more ridiculous than the last. It got so bad that CNN Superlawyer Michael Avenatti's own client basically came out and said she wanted no part of his wild allegations.

Fox was probably the only network that saw through the pure BS. Meanwhile, CNN had Avenatti appear on their show over 9,000 times (okay, not sure about the number it was a lot).

You think the way they acted at the hearings is worse than what he said during and after them?

You think the fact that McConnell sat on a previous nominee for almost a year had anything to do with it?

It's as if people are refusing to acknowledge that the problem is partisan butt crevasses refusing to actually do their job. McConnell's handling of Obama's nominee and the subsequent nomination of those who are clearly unfit and unqualified just adds to an upward spiral of refusing to act in the best interests of the country.

Somewhere it has to stop.

Well, if it wasnt for Avanettis presence then one of the accusations likely would not have been made. His client disavowed the declaration he prepared for her, and given how corrupt he is and the way it all went down I tend to believe her.

Avanetti is just an example of how the media lapped up any and all accusations without questioning them.

It reminded me of a few years back when the crazy claims about satanic daycares spiralled out of control.

Don't look to me as someone as saying that Biden's accuser is telling the truth. I don't know.

What I do know is that CNN had over 700 stories about Kav and until very recently they had one on the Biden accusations.

There was also a NY Times story a week or so ago that was totally slanted against the accuser. Just gratuitously mentioned the penalty for filing a false police report. No reason, other than to plant the seed that the accuser is a liar.

Of course, the NY Times story on Biden threw in a paragraph or two about the old Trump allegations- as if they had a bearing on the veracity of the Biden claims.

Me either. There seems to be a few of those who have been shamed into speaking out, but I think they have done so only to the extent they feel is necessary to preserve their moral authority to scream later when someone they don't like is accused.

My point is that a hashtag can trend because people are posting things contrary to the hashtag. There is no legitimate movement to fire Hayes. That hashtag is trending BECAUSE people are using it to bash an imaginary movement to fire Hayes.

A former federal prosecutor has given his thoughts on the allegations. This is pretty much how I feel about the whole thing. And as much as I did not want Kavanaugh to be placed on the SCOTUS, I maintained this same belief about Ford's accusations against him. Blindly believing an accusation just because is very dangerous territory that can destroy the reputation of the accused. That's just wrong on all accounts.

I’ve seen a little coverage of this accusation against Biden, but when is the last time you’ve seen coverage of any of Trump’s 20 or so accuser? I would like to see more coverage about all of the accusers, which means they will have to spend 20 times more time on Trump.

Wow, if everything I read in that piece is accurate, then Tara Reade has no credibility at all. I support investigating, but based on that article, this story doesn't deserve any air time at all.
