    Today it begins, Kamala has reached the point that she's the Democratic Party nominee:

    She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

    So it's not just youth rebelling against the current party in authority over them. It's the youth specifically rejecting Republicans, their values and their policies.
     
    Here is a bit more info on new voter registrations, specifically in Michigan. It certainly seems like there is a movement happening in the electorate, one that polls will struggle to measure. Maybe this year for the first time registered voters will be more accurate than likely voters due to all the new registrations?

    It’s all they have. I saw someone on Twitter say they frequent some RFK Jr chat groups, and the overwhelming sentiment over him endorsing Trump was anger and betrayal. He said it was very rare to see someone who intended to vote for Trump in that chat group.
     
    This is pretty dumb, IMO. Apparently Vance told MTP today that if Congress passes a national abortion ban Trump would veto it. No women will believe this. We’ve been gaslit and lied to so much that this won’t gain them any votes to my way of thinking because we know it’s meaningless. However, this may well depress his base and keep them from coming out. What do you all think?

    That’s my take, that the majority of his voters don’t want to vote for either major party, and now will either go to a different third party candidate or just not vote.

    that makes sense, most will just go libertarian or Green Party is my guess.
    I'll be honest, this will be the first time I'll be voting major party since Bill Clinton.
