Today it begins, Kamala has reached the point that she's the Democratic Party nominee:

There's video from today. this link has video from her first public appearance since Biden endorsed her:

She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

She's renamed her YouTube channel, that's the where to go for video: https://www.youtube.com/@kamalaharris

This is her video on her channel from two hours ago:

To play it, start it, and then move it up to 5:47. This was one of those live videos which don't start at zero.

I've named this thread General Election 2024 Harris vs Trump

Trump needs an introduction post as well, a MAGA suporter ought to write it: @Farb, @SaintForLife , @Others, calling for someone to please introduce your GOP candidate for this 2024 general election thread.

Yup, and win popular vote for the first time in 20 years.

This is shaping up to be the worst defeat since 88.
NBC reporting she is losing the Arab American vote in Dearborne Michigan. She's 3rd behind Trump and
Jill Stein. Looking like Stein has influenced a swing state.

I hope they don't. There's nothing wrong with what Democrats stand for and the policies they put forward. The problem is with the American electorate and the propoganda right wing ecosystem. If the American electorate continues to choose crazy and believe the obvious propoganda, that's the fate the US will suffer.

Meh, there is some kind of wierd popular girl clique thing going on. People act like running in a primary is permamently burning bridges.

If nothing else that needs to change.

Everyone keeps comparing what Trump will do to what he did the first time in office. It's going to be totally different this time, watch. He will have no safeguards. There will be no adults in the room to tell him he is being stupid. There will be no Pence there to protect the constitution and do what is right. This term will be drastically different from his first term.

And they'll keep losing elections. I'm not saying they have to give up everything in their platform, but they do need to change it. I mean, Trump won't run again, but I'm sure someone will try being another Trump and just repeat that formula. The Democrats need to figure out how to win these elections. What they're doing isn't working. The country is about to find out what a completely Republican controlled government looks like.

such a leopard eating your face moment for america...

I have no idea if Systemshock is a Republican, but his argument is exactly what they say.

Why wouldn't he deliver on a policy promised, and can enact unilaterally?

It's hilarious everytime I see that argument made.

Y'all wanna argue that Kamala wasn't elected through a primary like that's the problem? F that noise. The problem is America. The problem is that over half of the electorate in this country decided that a rapist, thieving, felonious con artist suffering through an obvious mental decline that openly vows to punish anyone who disagrees with him is a better fit for president than a black woman. We as a country are broken, period. And when the dust settles, all of the butt crevasses that voted him into office will be just as forked as the rest of us and still TOO forkING STUPID to see that it's their gosh darned fault.

I mean this sincerely- fork every single person who didn't step up to the plate. fork the GOP. fork the enablers. fork those who couldn't bring themselves to vote for a woman. fork third-party voters who foisted their "perfect is the enemy of good" holier-than-thou bullshirt on everyone else. NATO is crippled. Ukraine is done. Israel is going to go on committing war crimes and atrocities with Trump cheering them on. And don't forget forget about SCOTUS. You know Thomas is forking done, Alito probably as well. The SC is going to fork over the American people for the next 20 years. This country is toast. It's been a nice ride. Shame so many butt crevasse ruined it for the future generations.

Candidate says he is going to do something

Supporters: He's not actually going to do that right?

    LOL

Well, I am not a Trump supporter; I voted for Kamala... Trump says a lot of things that never happen (much more so than other candidates). And this particular one, there may be a token tariff here and there, but not a blanket tariff on all goods coming from MX. There's more than just commerce involved too.

Yeah, add those idiots to the list. They think Trump is going to be better? They're all forking idiots. Pathetic, self-righteous morons.

Yeah, this is gonna be a train wreck from the minute he steps into office.

I guess Arab Americans forgot who moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.
And Jill Stein? Again, stupid extreme leftists and their stupid protests votes... more concerned what was happening on the other side of the world instead of their own house.

    I couldn't agree more.

That’s what I tried to tell my Trump leaning friends, but they don’t get it. They’re about to find out, and unfortunately the rest of us will get to experience that with them.
