If you turn out your idiots, you’ve already got half of every individual demographic. Most of the non idiots know which party they are voting for before the campaign starts, and they are always the most likely voters.

By not focusing on the idiots, we are wasting time and effort on the least persuadable voters, just because they are the “likely voters”.

So we have Lapaz saying she didn’t go far enough and you saying she completely backed off. I actually think she hit the right note - she didn’t comment on Biden at all and just clarified her own message - which has been consistent - that she will work for everyone, not just her voters.

If the election was over - absolutely go with your quip. Morally justified and satisfying.

Most of the idiots don’t vote, even MAGA idiots. I remember someone at a Trump rally speaking to them and most of them weren’t even registered.

I think early voting indicates strong turnout - and that generally favors Dems. Trump hasn’t gained as many voters as he lost with Jan 6. I am hopeful about this election.

It could have an effect on voter turnout. It could turn off a few voters, and that might be enough. It doesn't have to be a huge deal to simply confront the topic. If Harris does it more completely than she did at Andrews AFB, but also empathizing, then it could go away. Until then, the right will keep using it to neutralize the comic's disgusting remark.

Harris will get right on it as soon as you send her the magical words she has to say to satisfy you and those other voters you're so worried about.
