She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

Seems I read about that in 2020, that there were a couple cases where the person early voted, died soon after, the vote wasn't cast out like it was supposed to and that was used as an example of voter fraud "you have dead people voting!"

I’m hoping we get some actual reporting on this disaster of an interview he’s giving today.

they will gloss over. The Rs on any MSM panel will sane-wash his ramblings, complain the moderator was "anti-Trump" and everyone is out to get him.

Yet he cant explain ONE....NOT ONE of his policies and HOW.

Simple- Moderator called him out on Tariffs- instead of EXPLAINING WHY the Moderator is wrong, he just says "You are WRONG" and continues that tack about how he has been wrong for over 25 years.

When pressed about deficit increase from his policies- "nope your wrong" and pivots immediately into something totally unrelated.

Thats it. Thats the reply and no one EVER pushes him to the brink- This one did ( to where Trump slouched back in chair and folded his arms and scowled at him ) - ALMOST had him completely lose it but he let him off the hook.

How ANYONE thinks this guy knows economics is beyond me.

So what live observation viewed as strange and even unwell, has now been white washed into Trump just going with the flow after “a pair of medical emergencies”.

Trump is going to win. This is 2016 all over again.

There are some interesting discussions on the 538 subreddit about how polling companies are trying to correct for the 2016 and 2020 misses. Basically oversampling rural Republican voters. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out for accuracy this go around. Anecdotally, the enthusiasm this go around seems to be more on the Harris side than the Trump side. If that's true, I'm not sure that's being accounted for in these polls.

im just so jaded right now- i have had to take a few days off X over weekend, just to re-calibrate. The amount of insanity that i keep subjecting myself to in the form of clips from his rallies, town hall, econ forums is not healthy and has built up a ton of skepticism in me.

To the point im just like "eff it, ill wait to see Nov 6" and write off all this other stuff.

I have to believe the electorate in this country is smarter than im thinking it is at this juncture. I have to.

My parents literally said “well they’re saying she did really poorly in this interview” - and I said “did you watch it? I didn’t either but I saw her kick his butt in a live debate. I have seen her take people apart in congressional hearings. This whole thing about her causal interviews while he can’t ever finish a thought is literally insane.”

I'm right there with you...well, almost!!!

I have lost that belief in the wisdom of our electorate! I have seen too much evidence in this past year to believe that the electorate has gotten smarter since our last go-round. There are too many that will believe ANYTHING, without even a thought of questioning the source.

We do have data from early voting and vote by mail. In PA it heavily favors Dems to the point that the analysis says if the response rates that are current hold until early voting is over, the Rs cannot overcome the advantage Dems will have. He’s not partisan - just a PA guy who is really into voting rates and trends in PA. I posted it earlier.

I honestly think this attitude of these old farts is a lot more prevalent than the press in general or the polls are letting on. People are not as dumb as what the very online cohort present. Online people are not representative - and there are a lot of foreign actors and shirt posters stirring things up. It’s not real life.
