I think in a way, the reason MAGA parents are mad at Taylor is because she’s similar to their kids.
Republican parents, but turn on the party’s values as they grow up and meet new people.
I know that’s the reaction many of my friends parents have had when they didn’t support the GOP.
I have a few of my uncles and aunts have that reaction because I’ve never voted Republican.
