Frankly, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the Critical Race Theory curriculum. What is it, where does it come from, and is it legitimate? Has anyone here read it and maybe give a quick summary?

Everybody is against slavery Brandon. As for segregation, tell me how people segregate themselves into groups. How does that happen? Where is the mandate to segregate in 2021?

I find it interesting that while you say everyone is against slavery, you were a little less definitive on segregation.

Yes, many POC are behind, but they are gaining. The problem is that those on top are also gaining. Even parity will not happen overnight. Why do people measure success according to who is winning the race? How about measuring success according to where they were 40-50 years ago?

If everyone is gaining equally (or, in reality, those on top are gaining faster), then parity will never be achieved, let alone overnight. It is necessary to provide supports that increase the gains of people of color to a rate that is faster than that of whites in order to achieve parity.

Which are the steps needed? Black Americans are the only ethnic group in world history that is expecting other ethnic groups to lift them. That is not how it works Brandon.

I am for additional reparations to descendants of slaves as long as white women, non American blacks, and other minorities are excluded. The reparation should only go to descendant of slaves that are in dire straits. After that the book is closed and we move on.

Who is ordering segregation in America?

That would be socialism and it generally does not work.


If person X has 1000 dollars and it gains 10% interest it goes up to 1100 dollars.
If person Y has 500 and it gains 10% interest it becomes 550 dollars.

The initial gap was 500 dollars. The gap increases to 550 dollars even though they both gained 10%. Catching up is very hard. In America we measure the gap instead of comparing the gains to past gains.

Only a month or so ago, everyone one of you were convinced that CRT was only discussed as a theory in law school. We were all crazy to even think this was being taught in education schools. I think my problem is who determining the truth that is being taught? Obviously domestic terrorist, I mean parents, don't have any say. Are these 'truths' brought by activists or educators? I will argue that they are now one in the same in academia at this point.

I loath tick tok as an angry 'white man' but it has been a godsend to show the amount of political indoctrination going on in elementary and above.

My general rule is if parents (apologies- domestic terrorists) across the board are against something then it is probably not a good thing.
