Frankly, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the Critical Race Theory curriculum. What is it, where does it come from, and is it legitimate? Has anyone here read it and maybe give a quick summary?

If this has been covered in another thread, then I missed it.

Because racism is taught from a perspective that causes division instead of unity.
This is precisely why racists should stop teaching children to be racist. Racists are not teaching their children racism for unity. They are doing it for division. This is probably one for the few things you've ever posted here that made any sense. Racism is a learned behavior. If racists stop teaching their children to be racists, then their children wouldn't grow up to be racists.

This is a stupid post. I said stupid because it's not silly or absurd.

To rely upon the reporting of Fox News and Steve Doocy in particular for anything other than comedy is stupid. Again, I said stupid because it's not silly or absurd.
So, what is incorrect about the article? No relation between the AG and his son-in-law. Does his SiL not have that job and make that money from contracts to those school boards selling the curriculum?

From your post, I think you think this article was stupid. Not silly or absurd, but stupid.

I actually could not agree more. That is why all BLM and other politically racist items and dogma should be removed from classrooms.

Just like you said, division is the goal, not he by product. Identity politics is the vehicle in which the racists use to divide and conquer.

The Holocaust is taught in Germany, however, present day Germans (the descendants of the NAZIs) are not judged as NAZIs.
To be fair, present day Germans are not swearing a loyalty oath to a single man as most of the current GOP effectively is! That's not to say the GOP or a certain section of white society is racist per se, just that they are so wrapped up in an anti-CRT ideology (because "o noes white people are being erased") that they can't see the forest for the trees.

The article is stupid, but your post is stupid because of the conclusion it draws based on the stupid article and the propensity it illustrates of your acceptance of stupid arguments made by stupid or bad people.

The point is that one group demonizing another group never ends well. It promotes more tribalism and ultimately violence. I understand Americans were severely injured, but demonizing white people is not a good plan. Teach the history in an academic neutral manner without trying to hit people of this era in the head.

I got it. You like the word stupid today.
Other than than that, can you show were I was wrong or the article is wrong?

I don't like stupid people. I don't like stupid posts. I don't like stupid articles and I am going to avoid them by welcoming you to the ignore list.

I feel as if this action on my part will lead me to greater happiness as a direct result of having reduced the amount of stupidity I'm being exposed to.

By your reaction to article I posted, I think that might be best for your mental health. I will miss you. Cheers!

I think the proportion of people who are "demonizing" white people is very very small and exaggerated by the "white people are being erased" crowd (who tend to exaggerate a lot these days to promote themselves as victims).

We evolved in tribes. It is much more complex than that Saint.

Sure, most humans love to embrace the role of the noble victim. According to psychologists it is an awful idea.

This post makes very little sense based on what you responded to. How is what you said germane to what I said?

    Racism is a learned behavior
There are those who teach their children to be racists
If those that teach their children to be racists stopped teaching them to be racist, they wouldn't grow up to be racist.

Again, how does your post even remotely have anything to do with what I stated?
