Who is disenfranchised? A convicted felon?

Yes. We send people to prison to punish them. Once they are out, should they not have basic rights restored, such as the right to vote? After all, we expect them to get jobs and pay taxes on those wages. They should have a say in how that tax money is spent, right?

Trump is not in office, I don't care if he could be a big boy and stand for 2 hours and give a speech. Why do you think I care about Trump's ability to read while standing?
Because you are obsessed with Biden supposedly being kept away from cameras while eating ice cream. Yet, you expect us to believe that you doing so isn't at least partly motivated by your desire to compare him to and make him appear to be weaker and dumber than Trump.

The fact that we have to celebrate the POTUS is able to stand up and give a speach for more than an hour is shows just how ridicious our body of politic has become. I thought it was stupid when everyone was amazed that Trump did it.
"We" don't have to celebrate a damn thing. YOU are the one who's been spouting off at the mouth about Biden's inability to give a live interview for months. So, after he gives a speech and takes questions for 90 minutes, you deserve to be dragged for the idiotic shirt you have been posting about his cognitive abilities since day one of his presidency. It's called being accountable to the shirt you say. Something you obviously aren't capable of.

    Also, it's speech.

Here is one that just came out:

    https://apnews.com/article/coronavi...th-inflation-6b6b0abfef867fc405e9f358ce2c3a09

More Americans disapprove than approve of how Biden is handling his job as president, 56% to 43%. As of now, just 28% of Americans say they want Biden to run for reelection in 2024, including only 48% of Democrats.

It is ok. You are part of the 28%. Embrace it.
Even if I thought Biden was doing a perfect job right now, i wouldn't want him to run in 2024. He's already too old to be president.

Just me? Have you not seen the polls? 28% of yall want him to run again.

I know, it was a proud moment as American watching this hulking, commanding, and dignified man read a 'speech' and take scripted, pre-rehearsed questions. Inspiring is all I can say.

You do realize the difference between forcing a development of a vaccine and distrust of public health measures
once said vaccine is developed, right?

By the way, you still haven't answered the 'agenda' question. What agenda is being forced by wanting to put in place
    public health safety measures?

You are asking me, but I think you need to be asking your peeps.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn reportedly described the coronavirus relief package currently being debated in Congress as a “tremendous opportunity.”

“This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” the South Carolina Democrat allegedly said on a phone call with fellow members of his party last week.

You're being intentionally vague. There's no other way around it. I've asked you a question 3x you can't answer. Likely because there is no good answer.

You can't just say that public health measures are going toward an 'agenda' and then dodge any and all questions for why and just reply with irrelevant links.

Just answer the question. Straight up. Or don't and I'll assume you have no answer.

The only thing the post above tells me that you found a few keywords like 'restructure' and 'vision' - none of which, of course, suggest some evil narrative you are clearly insinuating.

You asked my why 'my side' makes this 'public health crisis' political. I simiply pointed out that your side does it too, but that is me being vague because I can't tell you what the left is really after.

You are right. I don't know for sure what the agenda is, I know what I think it is and what I think it is, is that they state wants all the power and wants us, as citizens, completely reliant on the state.
Stoke the fear to unreasonable levels, promise the solution if you submit and when some don't submit, make the them the 'others' in order coerce the 'others' to do what the state wants. Destroy the ability to make a living without the state being involved and ship all industry and business to the large corporations that are much easier to control by the state, until they control the state.

Do you want a tinfoil hat, I have some extra?

    Who is "the state"?

    Who is "the state"?
hard to say. The usual definition I use includes any governmental body, but IMO, it is getting colluded. A lot of money is changing hands and we see certain industries explode during covid while there is a concerted effort to close small business as well as churches.
    Strikes me as odd.

That was a dastardly plan that backfired because small business actually exploded during Covid. I know of several people that started a small business because of Covid. This is why facts matter, they can help dispel of conspiracy theories if you actually know what the facts are. There was no grand takeover plan by "the state" behind Covid.

Is “the state” a sentient entity?

Maybe, maybe not. I know I had to 3 new neighbors in the vacant store next to mine. They stocked the store, minimally, never opened and moved out after about 6 months. From what I understand from one owner, granted, I only talked to him so no idea what the happened to the others, he was opening to take advantage of some type of federal money for minority business start ups.

That is only one example but the reality I see everyday in my area is vastly different than those posted in the article.
