I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

Actual hate crimes committed by actual racists - you don’t like any extra penalties, just treat them the same as any other graffiti? I think you’ve been clear about that.

But if a POC creates a fake hate crime, there should be a severe penalty?

Fake racism or the Jussie Smollet syndrome is something totally different. This should be treated differently.

This was not addressed to me, but in my opinion, one is staged to establish victimhood at the cost of truth and possible civil unrest and one is a crime.
To that end, the faking of crime especially current 'hate' crimes should have a sever penalty, otherwise they will keep happening and peoples lives will be ruined because someone is obviously mentally ill.

Psychiatric counseling. Why would anyone want to create fake hate crimes? This is not about hating someone. It could very well be that the perpetrators wants to keep the issue of racism and hate in the forefront. It is very difficult to understand why anyone would do this. Do you have any ideas?

Victims of oppression and hate often have solidarity with each other, it can be a unifying factor. In a strange sense that can be empowering.

It seems to me both run the risk of civil unrest, and both are liable to happen more frequently if not addressed.

A fake hate crime impacts everyone in the group of the fake victim just like a hate crime.

If someone is going around murdering white men because they hate white men, then it affects all white men, because any of them could be the next target.

Falsely reporting that there is someone going around murdering white men because they hate white men would have the exact same impact on all white men as it would if there really was a murder going around murdering white men because they hate white men.

If that is the case, racial hate crimes should carry extra penalties as well, yet you argue against that. Both are based on race, which we know carries a significantly increased risk of emboldening others and ruining lives.

Besides Ad Hominem, do you have an argument? All you have said is that people deserve empathy. I actually agree with that. But the empathy should be spontaneous and not forced, faked, or condescending.

Ironically, he also demonstrated an actual ad hominem argument, by responding to your argument without addressing the substance of it and instead accusing you of having a 'wall of defensive mechanisms'.
