It’s so repulsive to see people cheering for what is basically 80% the same thing as the Holocaust - different end result but otherwise very similar.

Economists have said it would tank the economy and cause inflation - notwithstanding the cost.

Is it going to actually happen or is this Build The Wall 2.0?

The dude has nothing to do with my comment at all. You said he was legal, so how would he be affected if states stopped giving illegals ID?
He wasn't assaulted because of his papers, he was assaulted because of his appearance and his accent! And again, you are ignoring the questions.

So, what happens to the kids born here?

How many "brown folks" who are citizens are going to get harassed?

I'm all for targeted deportations and controlling our border. But how far is this really going to go?

Never said anything at all about the dude and I don't think cops will be going door to door looking for illegals. But why give illegals ID at all, it merely aids and abets.

Wasn't aware I needed to inform you legal citizens can not be deported generally.

The comments you keep responding to have nothing to do with deporting citizens. The questions are about what happens when non-white citizens endure harassment simply because of the color of their skin.

The reasons he responds that way is because he knows he'll never be harassed or involved in the mass deportations, so he doesn't care what happens to the legal or illegal citizens that are mistreated. So he chooses not to addresses it and ignore it.

Nice to have that choice with the knowledge, I guess.

And yet he(Trump) won. So what does that say about the Democrats and their ideologies, their leadership, their candidates, their policy proposals, their campaign and their record over the last 4 years.

Seems to me if Trump and Republicans are as bad as you say, the other party should have beaten him handily and yet they didn’t.

I dunno. Maybe both parties are out of touch? Maybe they both need to step up their game? Maybe we need better candidates and better leadership all around?
You tell us.

It goes further than that and I've seen it all my life. I have learned that people who typically respond to those types of questions by providing non-answers and deflections, are doing so because they know that they don't see people of color as just Americans and they trying to keep up the "shining city on a hill" façade.
