Those Covid lungs are taking their toll on him. Maybe not a good thing for Florida, but at least it's a good thing for him that he got the J&J vaccine. He likely would have fared much better had he gotten the 2-shot regimen and been boosted.

I wear a mask in almost all public places that I go and have to wear one at work unless I'm at my desk alone. But I still travel have gone on vacation and probably wouldn't wear one if I were on vacation in a situation like that with nobody around. I also forget my mask sometimes. I doubt anybody is a strident as you expect them to be in order to not be considered hypocritical by you and those in the right.

But still, there's a difference between what I described and being obtuse and never wearing one. You guys take your non mask wearing a some kind of sign of independence or of not being controlled. That's just stupid. It's a mask and there's an airborne pandemic, it's just common sense.

Farb I'm not on the finding Chinese spy's patrol and you're not on the finding Chinese spy's patrol either, so who should be included in this "we" you bemoaned not having the opportunity to see her face on the off chance that seeing her face would have caused her to be nabbed by this mysterious Chinese spy patrol, who can apparently tell who's Chinese spy's just by looking at them, assuming that the Chinese spy's are not wearing Covid masks,,, drat that!

The science on cloth mask has been known for a while. If it wasn't scientifically known, then you wouldn't know about it. So I don't know what you mean by the science is catching up to the counter culture. Certainly N95 and KN95 are the best choice if masking. Surgical mask are the second option, but it's also scientifically known that wearing a cloth mask is better than nothing at all.

I see plenty of people wearing N95and KN95 mask, especially with the emergence of the Omicron variant. I also see plenty of people wearing surgical mask. And yes, I still see plenty people wearing cloth mask. At the end of the day, it's a choice because we live in America. Again, none of us are as militant as you seem to want us to be for you to make logical choice and not decry it as being subservient/manipulated to/by government.
