This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

Mostly agree. But you are making excuses for someone who would never give such grace to anyone else. And I am not inclined to give Trump any grace at all because of his childish behavior and dangerous rhetoric.

The ABC News anchors last night said that Trump WAS originally going to give his usual style speech on the final night of the convention....yet they were told that he will totally scrap that speech and start anew...because of the rally shooter incident. Trump's speech on the final day will reportedly be of a different tone and reportedly he'll attempt to speak in a manner that is "unifying".
This is not me defending him but this is me just passing on what ABC News said last night.

Yes, I saw that also. Here is what we know about Trump, or at least we should know by now: the man cannot help himself. He cannot change, he isn’t capable. We’ve heard this hopeful theory before, put out there no doubt by people on the campaign who wish he could change.

Possibly you are correct? Even Probably?, but not 100% certain.
Trump never had bullets whiz by his head and his supporter killed.
Hypothetically he could change a bit because of that. Yes?

Then a clip of her was shown. SHE explained she didn't put a Secret Service agent on that roof because the roof was sloped and it seemed like a safety issue. My reaction: It was safe enough for the shooter. Her excuse is so unacceptable.

His running mate has made numerous disparaging comments about him.
The GOP continues to have a cognitive disconnect in how they talk about being the “law and order” party while giving every excuse for Jan. 6.

If anything, the GOP is the family that presents itself as a clean cut family; but being closed doors, is the most dysfunctional family on the block.

The GOP was declaring victory before the 2020 election and when they didn’t win, they called it illegitimate.

I’m not saying Biden is a shoe in either, but to say Trump is a slam dunk is disingenuous.
Especially when Trump is still EXTREMELY unpopular.

The House....The Senate....The Presidency...it will be a Red Sweep. America is tired of crime in Democratic led cities. America is tired of Iran being strong and providing arms to terrorist groups. Some African Americans spoke yesterday and some spoke tonight saying they are leaving the Democratic Party because that party has not helped them. I'm sure most of you are angry that this will come to pass. Oh well.
