I’m sure much of us are having 2016 flashbacks this morning with a sick feeling to our stomachs..

2 of the last 3 elections Democrats have lost to a far right demagogue

Harris didn’t get close in many states to even Biden’s performance. We could very well lose the Presidency, Senate AND House depending on results the next few days…..

    What went wrong?
    What could’ve been done better?
What can we change in the future to ensure voters are motivated like they were when Obama was elected?

Democrats have no choice but to admit there’s a huge problem with some aspect of their platform— and to do a deep introspection of what’s going wrong..

How about you post the real thing that was said that struck you as racist instead of playing with hypotheticals.
    Seriously?

Just about everything he said, but specially calling "whiteness" an ideology and a value system that needs to be eliminated, and how whiteness flies the absolute opposite of an environment that's value driven and love to our children.

And before you get all huffy, remember that your hypothetical is just that, and what was actually said has context.

Child, please. I don't get "all huffy" LOL.
My "hypothetical"... Miller sure's doing his best to eliminate browness. I don't think it is that much of a hypothetical; probably more of a wet dream of his.

Yes, what was said has context... a racist context that you are about to apologize for.

The entire video should provide enough context for you to figure this out, but you are either ignoring it or missing the point.

Fine, let's contextualize both ideas. Luke Wood's point, at its core, is that the educational system is failing black children, especially boys. His point is that there is racial bias that needs to be addressed.

Stephen Miller, on the other hand, is a white nationalist who doesn't give two shirts about anyone, child or adult, who isn't white. There's your context, my dear SystemSchlock.

Typo? Or trying to be cute?

Anyway, you can't see it, but you are doing basically the same thing right wingers are doing with Kirk: sanitizing. But that's ok... when I go into a discussion with apologists, I don't expect them to consider what's plain in sight. But I do it anyway, for the benefit of the yet indoctrinated.

    My favorite Stossel video:

I remember watching this live. It wasn't very smart on Stossels part. I saw a video about the incident
when Jim Cornett was interviewed about it. I had no luck finding it. Cornett said before Stossel arrived
Vince McMahon instructed Shultz to stay in character if Stossel asked him questions. Cornett said that
was the wrong man to tell that too.

There’s a whole Dark Side of the Ring episode on VICE about this incident

Let me try one more time. Do you think there is a difference between "the system is failing a segment of the population and I am working to address that" and "this is a country for whites only"?

You know? Perhaps you are right... maybe I am looking at it the wrong way. But I tell you, it is very sad to learn black boys and men don't have the mental capacity to properly learn from non-black teachers like Asian or Latino kids have to learn no matter who's in front. Gut wrenching even.

You're the only one injecting ability (mental capacity) into this. That's a strawman argument, my dear SystemSchlock.

That's what your friend said in the video, that black boys and men can't fully learn from white teachers, or women... Asians, Europeans, La Raza, they don't have issues learning from teachers or any flavor or sex. I guess there's a special need there...

Democratic Party Principals are having a negative effect on many college students.

SteveSBrickNJ: Me a Republican and Trump supporter, never I say, never.

Then SteveSBrickNJ posts a complete Republican and Trump bullshirt propaganda video like it's objective truth. Not a Republican and Trump supporter my arse.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Vice President Kamala Harris says she would have picked Pete Buttigieg as her running mate last year but America wasn’t ready for the pairing, according to an excerpt of her new book.

Harris writes in an excerpt of “107 Days” published Wednesday in The Atlantic that former President Joe Biden’s transportation secretary was her “first choice,” adding that he “would have been an ideal partner — if I were a straight white man.”

“But we were already asking a lot of America: to accept a woman, a Black woman, a Black woman married to a Jewish man. Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it. But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk,” she writes.

Her thoughts on selecting a running mate come as potential 2028 contenders begin traveling the U.S. in the early days of the second Trump administration.

In the book excerpt, she writes about her love of working with Buttigieg and her friendship with him and his husband, but that the two of them on the Democratic ticket would have been too risky.

“And I think Pete also knew that — to our mutual sadness,” she writes.……

Meh, I don’t really care about that. Sure, he would have been great from a purely academic standpoint but that is not how these choices are made.

The post-mortem of the campaign doesn’t dig at all into, imo, the real issues of why Kamala lost. Sure, the process was awful. The party knew they had a lame duck in Biden no matter what his physical health and mental faculties were like. I got reamed on a different board for saying perception is reality especially in political economy. Well, the perception was Biden was old. Old not meaning a number but meaning frailty. That was the first and most crucial mistake the party made. Biden thumped Trump the first time but, imo, he would have lost enough independents and never-Trumpers to not be able to defeat Trump.

You are the only one injecting mental capacity into this. Some people are visual learners. Some aren't. Some learn better in group environments. Some learn better in one-on-one settings. That doesn't mean one group is smarter or more capable of learning information than the other. It just means they thrive in differing environments or under different teaching methods.
