If he is found guilty this will only get worse..

Former president Donald Trump’s hush money trial is nearing its end, with closing arguments expected shortly. But for Stormy Daniels, the aptly named woman caught in the whirlwind, there’s no end to her ordeal.

Indeed, Trump may be the one on trial, but it’s Stormy who’s been judged every day for the past five years. And unlike Trump’s New York jury of his peers, Stormy’s being judged by those with little mercy, little care for evidence, and scant regard for Justice. And with Trump making another run for The White House, she knows the haters and the abuse are only likely to get worse.

Speaking from her home in Texas, Stormy says: “Back in 2018, there was stuff like ‘liar,' ‘slut,' ‘gold digger.' This time around, it’s different. It is direct threats. It is ‘I’m going to come to your house to slit your throat.'"

If Trump is found gulity, which is a good chance with a NYC jury despite Cohen getting caught lying on the stand, it will definitely get overturned on appeal. Biden and the Democrats don't care if it gets overturned on appeal. It's all about Biden and Democrats being able to refer to Trump as a convicted felon during the campaign.

Mentally preparing yourself for a guilty verdict, huh. Must mean you believe that prosecution proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

It's going to be a rough week for MAGA.

What does that mean? The fix?

    Ill try in one breath....

The BIDEN DOJ has tasked Garland who tasked Colangelo, who left the DOJ upon request of Biden, to team up with NY DA Alvin Bragg, and have the case heard in Judge Merchan court whose daughter is also a consultant for the Democratic party, to bring misdemeanor charges against a political opponent named Donald Trump, who by all accounts, is absolutely creaming Biden in the polls, therefore Biden and the whole Democrat apparatus is looking to discredit his political rival to secure his re-election come November 2024....

    *gasp- inhale

    make sense?

This is where the defenses argument completely falls apart. There is no way to credibly believe that Cohen did this on his own out of the goodness of his heart without Trump's direction and assurances that he would get paid back.

Blanche argues that it was Cohen's decision — not Trump's — to pay the $130,000 to Daniels

Trump attorney Todd Blanche is now turning to Stormy Daniels, noting it's a "story" that took place in 2006, 18 years ago.
"President Trump and Ms. Daniels have repeatedly denied it took place," Blanche says.

Blanche argues that Michael Cohen "made a decision to pay that $130,000 to Ms. Daniels, he didn’t tell President Trump about it because he knew he could get credit for doing something to help President Trump at some later time."

Blanche says "people were not happy with him on the campaign so he made this decision. The only person who suggests otherwise and tells you President Trump knew everything about this is Michael Cohen himself. That’s it. There’s no other proof of that."

"There’s no way that you can find that President Trump knew about this payment at the time it was made without believing the words of Michael Cohen, period. And you cannot — you cannot — believe his words," Blanche says.

Of course he can only process information through the lens of how it affects him - he’s not talking about it being unfair in any other context or historically as a matter of policy. He just thinks it’s unfair to him.

Well, if you listen to the right sources don'tcha know that the FBI basically sent a hit squad to Mara Lago over some kind of documents that the Orange Jesus had ever right to keep for his own use?

What's truly alarming is how many morons in this country really believe this nonsense....

What does that mean? The fix?
The fact that the "Trump prosecutor said: The other crime? Need not have been committed for Trump to be convicted. Just intended. And by the way--it doesn't even have to be a crime. Two misdemeanors plus civil FECA violation and--voila!--34 felonies, max 136 years in prison."

Yeah, Trump's defense really lost the case on this. You also have to believe Trump for some reason didn't require a retainer agreement for payments.

    It's Biden's re-election strategy

This makes sense if part of the message is "Trump is wholly unfit for office. Republicans must select a different nominee to run for president for the good of the country. A felon should not be one of the two candidates for president."

It's wild how far people like you have fallen. Does anyone remember when you could lose a SC nomination over hiring illegal immigrants to wash your sheets?

That wasn’t a quote - that was a summary of how McCarthy characterizes the prosecution’s position. And it’s a legal question, either that’s the law or it isn’t. There’s nothing to fix.
