You didn’t perform an IQ test on AOC did you? If so, care to post the results? But by using some (poor)deductive reasoning based on perceived behavioral patterns and things they said, you drew a conclusion of her intelligence and character....See how that works?so yes you think people are racist despite have no concrete evidence. thats the problem
Touché.For once, very true words.
what? what are you rambling about? Show me the conclusion I drew based on her intelligence and character. You didn’t perform an IQ test on AOC did you? If so, care to post the results? But by using some (poor)deductive reasoning based on perceived behavioral patterns and things they said, you drew a conclusion of her intelligence and character....See how that works?
There are so many forms of intelligence. And realizing that, in hindsight, as I’ve stated previously....I should have just said she seems ill equipped for her position. You didn’t perform an IQ test on AOC did you? Primarily based on an interview of her. It wasn't her idea and she indicated she was reluctant, like the thought had never occurred to her. I doubt given all that she was preparing.
what?

She is educated, I’ll concede that. She holds a degree in economics and international relations. She interned for Ted Kennedy and worked on the 2016 Sanders campaign. After the general election in 2016, she drove to Flint and the Standing Rock reservation and talked directly to the people. I'm genuinely not sure how anyone can look at her background and education and conclude that she was in any way unprepared.
It’s not that complicated. It’s simply putting a mirror up to your contradictory rationale for defending the value judgements you are making towards others(agreeing with posters saying AOC is stupid and unintelligent, inferencing about the personal character of posters) while denying others from using the same processes to draw conclusions about someone’s bigotry.
So either it’s ok to make core value judgements about others based on the things they say, the signals they give off by actions they take and things they do, or it’s not.
Apparently direct evidence is only necessary, and without substitute, when it comes to labeling someone racist. Calling someone unintelligent, dumb, partisan, or a coward can be done through inference, deduction, or presumption. It makes no sense, and removes yourself from credibility, but hey, no one said you had to come here and be credible....At least that is my impression based on how the board has devolved.
it seems like it complicated for you. Here you are rambling about nothing trying to make a point and I never mentioned that womens name. Maybe you did terrible job assuming I did and felt I needed a lecture. Typical attitude from people like you. buzz offIt’s not that complicated. terrible point. To be crystal clear: do you think blackface is racist?
No, its really not complicated. You lack moral and intellectual consistency and it debases your credibility.it seems like it complicated for you. In a word. No.To be crystal clear: do you think blackface is racist?
In a word. No.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If done in a derogatory or demeaning manner, then it could be offensive. But not techincally racist.
terrible point.

You spent several pages and an entire day going to bat for people calling AOC a moron using inferential and deductive reasoning, than accosted another poster for using the same process to conclude a bigoted root to the accusations. When challenged on that you further demonstrated your incapacity for consistency by using that same process to label me while refusing to reconcile the ultimatum and cease and desist proclamation you made of the poster for using the same logic you and yours continue to use.

I made a mistake when i tried to quote part of your post. You highlighted my comment about blackface, then replied about not having concrete evidence. What you didn't do was answer the question. Do you think blackface is racist?
