Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

So some say due to his age, he seems weak and people prefer a strong president... But some also view women as weaker than men... So I wonder how much of a positive swing (in votes) would there be if KH was running instead of Biden? Maybe not as much as people might think?

I think we're into the final stage before he drops out here:
President Joe Biden is more isolated than he has ever been, with many senior-ranking White House and campaign officials now privately believing that he must abandon his campaign for a second term – and soon.

“The next 72 hours are big,” one Democratic governor in close touch with party officials relayed to aides on Thursday. “This can’t go on much longer.”

In interviews with CNN, more than two dozen sources familiar with the dynamics inside the West Wing and campaign said there is now widespread acceptance that Biden remaining in the 2024 race is wholly untenable.

Latest polling showed Kamala with the same results, essentially, as Biden.

I was thinking that might be the case: where she gains some in some groups but loses in others and maybe the results would be more or less the same as Biden
At this point we just don’t know anything. Someone online pointed out that Biden’s approvals suffer from Rs attacking him mercilessly. And they will do the same to whoever takes his place.

Clinton not winning has made me worried about a woman at the top of the ticket. The misogyny in this country right now is worse than I have ever seen as an adult. You would have to go back to my childhood to see worse attitudes toward women.

I think we're into the final stage before he drops out here:

"In response to questions about this story, White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said Biden is “proud of the well-rounded team he has built.”

“He has not made changes to the group of advisers he consults, who he trusts because they’ve demonstrated the integrity to tell the truth and keep the wellbeing of the American people front of mind,” Bates said."-- all in bold is from the linked article.

This above in bold was all I could find in that article which I didn't think was either narrative of the author, or gossip that has been going around where the sources were hidden from view.

I don't deal with that, into the trash it goes.

    November 2023:
I'm not a Democrat but.. I tend to like Newsom's odds vs Trump over Biden's. I think Biden's obvious lack of vigor due to his advanced age is a problem and while Trump is old too he doesn't seem as old as Biden.

I don't know much about Newsom but from the little I have seen I could see him as the nominee for sure.. he presents well and looks "presidential," which matters.

Second however is that Biden I believe may have a unique weakness not seen with other Democrats here who have done well recently in the sense that his age - like I said earlier - paired along with his pretty apparent lack of vigor.. presents poorly in a way that that may turn off some voters that he needs to win.

It's not just big rallies and everything but.. everybody on here has to know that Biden is diminished from where he used to be it's just obvious.. he was diminished from where he used to be when he won in 2020 as well I know that but we're probably further down that road now and I think it's probably become more obvious to more people in general.

I think that's the concern for some of us but the others can correct me if what I said there doesn't speak for them.

I have serious concerns about him being on a debate stage for a couple of hours a few times next fall.

My question is can Biden campaign? Joe Biden will be an octogenarian on the campaign trial. If he can't keep up the physical demands, and rigors of running for office he should step aside.

It's still not to late to announce your not running, and let a primary race begin. He can even endorse Kamala, she won't win either way.

@J-DONK had the freakin path laid out and everything there they just had to put that shirt into motion and @samiam5211 you were correct to be seriously concerned lol.

AOC did a live Instagram last night. She is a smart person, and raises the very concerns I have. Everyone who is sure that Biden must drop out needs to read this thread. She seems to think that there isn’t a real plan in place, and that the big donors who are pushing Biden out are also not going to accept Harris as the nominee. This guy has compiled her thoughts.

AOC has been on my short list of people who might become President someday. I put her on that list the first time I saw her speak. She's very smart.

WHAT legislation has she authored that has helped America? ....or WHAT even has she done for her district?
Maybe there are examples of both? I'm happy to have you educate me.

Is it possible to be smart without passing legislation? Why not read what she says and comment on that instead of just jumping into contention about her without even reading it?

I am bouncing back and forth between 2 platforms. I don't want to take the time to research her.
I am just asking those who claim they like her to be a bit more convincing.

I don't want to wander around in the weeds today Steve.

I'm trying to figure out what the hell happened at Twitter between when I went to bed and when I got up.

When I got up I found that about a third of the people I follow have had their feeds stripped of posts critical of the Criminal in the middle of the night.

It's like I'm not following them even though I am.
