There is about 20-30% of the Republican Party that is pro-slavery yes.
They are currently in charge and setting the agenda so yes, the Republican Party is pro-civil war losers.
Also 'no' but I have been very clear and above board on that.Do you believe that people who are Republican are superior to people who are Democrat?
Do you believe that people who are Democrat should have less rights and proportional government representation than people who are Republican?
Do you believe that people who live in southern states are superior to people who live in northern states?

My answer to every question is no. My answer to the converse of every question is also no. I look forward to hearing your answers to these questions.
The question asked of Haley was simple to answer. She failed miserably. Also 'no' but I have been very clear and above board on that.
So you don't honestly think that Republicans are pro-slavery? I assume that is also no. Then you would agree that the question asked of Haley was just stupid and political stunt, right?

It so wasn’t a “gotcha” question. Her reaction is what caused people to talk about her. She has only herself to blame for this. Also 'no' but I have been very clear and above board on that.

I didn't know what you thought which is why I asked and thanks for answering. Also 'no' but I have been very clear and above board on that.
I missed were Haley was asked, "are you pro-slavery." Was she asked if she was pro-slavery? Would you please provide a source that shows she was asked specifically if she was pro-slavery?So you don't honestly think that Republicans are pro-slavery? I assume that is also no. I wonder if she would still pardon him
Trump promotes 'totally baseless' birther conspiracy theory against Nikki Haley
The former U.N. ambassador was born in South Carolina and is a U.S. citizen.www.nbcnews.com
Trump posted an article on his Truth Social account from a right-wing outlet that claimed Haley, his GOP rival, is ineligible to be president because her parents were not U.S. citizens when she was born.
Haley was born in South Carolina and has lived in the U.S. her entire life. Her parents were immigrants, who became citizens after her birth in 1972.

Why was she asked that question? To get her to say it was about slavery or not about slavery. The dude who asked the question said as much in his follow up remark. The MSM jumped on her answer to 'prove' she was trying to not step on the toes of some of the republican voters. What voters exactly?
What voters do you think the MSM was referring to?
How should I know? Do you think she actually thinks slavery wasn't a cause of the civil war?Why do you think she didn’t just answer slavery?
Did you giggle when you typed that? How should I know? Do you think she actually thinks slavery wasn't a cause of the civil war?
Why do I think she answered the way she did? She didn't feel like dunking the Democrats who were the slaver holders at the time. That is my guess. She is too much of a unifier and is trying to bridge the gap between the growing divide.
Who cares why she was asked? It was a simple question that she forked up. The Lost Cause was, is and always be bullschlitz.provide a source. LOLZ.

Bird's correct. It doesn't matter why she was asked. The questions was simple and straight forward. Haley chose to answer it how she chose to answer it.Who cares why she was asked? It was a simple question that she forked up. The Lost Cause was, is and always be bullschlitz.
It's obvious now, innit? All the people, predominantly in southern states, who hold a nostalgic affinity for the Confederacy. Are those people pro-slavery? Some of them probably are.The MSM jumped on her answer to 'prove' she was trying to not step on the toes of some of the republican voters. What voters exactly?

I did, just littleDid you giggle when you typed that?
Looks like she came out swinging... to defend her civil war comments... against.. Biden?? Did I miss something? And Biden made a comment about Nikki and her civil war comments?
Haley accuses Biden of giving 'offensive' speech at the church where racist mass shooting occurred
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is taking aim at the Democrat she’d like to face in the November election.apnews.com
“For Biden to show up there and give a political speech, it’s offensive in itself,” the former United Nations ambassador and South Carolina governor said during a town hall on Fox News in Des Moines, Iowa. “I don’t need someone who palled around with segregationists in the ‘70s and has said racist comments all the way through his career lecturing me or anyone in South Carolina about what it means to have racism, slavery, or anything related to the Civil W
I think you right about most of that.Bird's correct. It doesn't matter why she was asked. The questions was simple and straight forward. Haley chose to answer it how she chose to answer it.
The person who asked the question said they asked it to see if Haley had changed her position from when she was a politician in South Carolina. She gave the same answer when she was in South Carolina saying it was state's rights instead of slavery.
It's obvious now, innit? All the people, predominantly in southern states, who hold a nostalgic affinity for the Confederacy. Are those people pro-slavery? Some of them probably are.
Are they racist? Without out a doubt many of them are, because they show and tell us they are.
I think most of them just have a hard time admitting to themselves and others that the Confederacy fought the Civil War to preserve slavery. I think that's because most of them aren't pro-slavery or racist and I don't think that's why the Confederacy means to them. I think it means more to them as an idea of rural and small town, simpler times and simpler life. It more off a Norman Rockwell, Mark Twain, or Andy Griffith's Mayberry kind of thing to them without much, if any, consideration given to white supremacy, slavery or racism.
For those people, it's really hard to admit that what they have a nostalgic affinity for was steeped in brutally oppressive slavery and they get mad anyone reminds them of the brutally oppressive slavery. A lot of the voters that have helped Haley win elections in the past and a lot of the voters she needs to win now are those people, so she avoids admitting the Civil War was fought over slavery to keep from losing their votes.
