Thought I would start a dedicated topic about her.

Well, looks like Haley is dropping out. Presser today at 10 AM. Word is that she will NOT endorse Trump, and I hope that part is true.
This indicates that you are correct..

Welp, if she doesn’t endorse Drumpf, something I would be pleasantly surprised to see, then she is done politically unless the party reforms itself. I am leaning towards her eventually endorsing Drumpf but not immediately.

Yes, I think you are correct. WSJ is reporting that she won’t endorse Trump today. But she will at some point. She’s never shown the backbone before and I don’t see it starting now.

Wasn’t there some RNC pledge that they must endorse the nominee?

Someone asked her about that a few days ago. She said that since the RNC had changed leadership, she didn’t feel that the pledge was valid.

It will be weak as shirt of her if she does go on to eventually endorse Trump.. which is probably why we should expect it at some point. Cowardly Republicans are why we're still dealing with Trump in the first place..

I'm expecting her to cave. I'm also expecting once Trump is finally out of the picture the far right wing of the Republican
party will have less influence. Mt mentioned in another thread,no other Republican has his ability to brainwash
    and hypnotize voters,and she's right.

She’s such an empty vessel. In her concession speech, besides warning that the U.S. is on the road to socialist ruin - it’s not, while fascism is a growing threat - she said she hopes Trump can win over “those in the party and beyond it, who did not support him.” That would mean ignoring the growing mountain of evidence against his ability to serve as president and the dangers he presents if he returns to the White House. If she really thinks that’s a rational take then she should have just gone ahead and endorsed him, because with those words, she stripped away any remaining illusion of principle she might have been guided by.

I’m not surprised, of course, already knowing she was hardly an honorable departure from what the GOP represents.

The move from here for Trump now is to say "you know Nikki, since you won't make up your mind on the endorsement, I don't want it."

Then she has to come crawling back to him with an endorsement or ends her career by not endorsing him.

The Head Liar’s claim to fame, making incompetence, ignorance, habitual lying, extreme selfishness, and corruption “if it benefits me” look honorable to a bunch of blind people, blinded by their selfishness. What hurts the most is that standards like integrity, thruthfulness, pragmatism, equal rights, fairness, as defined by The Founding Fathers were so easily flushed by 70m people in the 2020 election voting for being corrupted, because they thought they would personally benefit from the Trump Cess Pool in DC. 🔥

Cheney did not crawl back, we’ll have to see if she actually has a spine.

There was....but Haley just recently said that the "real RNC doesn't exist anymore." For this reason she does not feel bound to that pledge.
    I agree.....it's the Maga NC...not the RNC.

That was true when she agreed to the pledge

Something tells me she’d have a different opinion if she was the one coasting to the nomination

OK....that's understandable from your point of view.
Yet.....Lara Trump was not in a RNC leadership position steering money to her father back when Haley agreed to the pledge

Juxtaposition between Trump and Haley voters...

Just a quick question…what does the Trump voter in that video use to keep his skull from collapsing?

She knew who she’d have to agree to endorse, though, and that hasn’t changed. If changes in the leadership of the RNC, and how its allocating money, would finally be something egregious enough to change her mind, and not ALL the many other considerations when it comes to Trump, does it really matter?

I’d like to see Haley show some real backbone but that’s not how I see her lining up her next step. She’ll feign more outrage about socialism and give us some rendition of how much worse Biden and the Democrats will be for this country, and how she struggled with her decision but that endorsing Trump is her only option. Principled Republicans, who will reject Christian nationalism and fight for our democracy, are a rapidly diminishing group.
