    WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

    I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

    This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

    Every action taken at the DoD has been to erase any mention of the contributions that non-white men have made in our armed forces and Hegseth has regulated The Tuskegee Airmen to a mere historical "Token".

    Edit: Again, fork this country!!! These heroes put it all on the line for a country that did everything to demean them during their service. We though we were past that type of thinking but that belief was another LIE.

    The military news website Task & Purpose reported that “the cemetery’s public website has scrubbed dozens of pages on gravesites and educational materials that include histories of prominent Black, Hispanic and female service members buried in the cemetery, along with educational material on dozens of Medal of Honor recipients and maps of prominent gravesites of Marine Corps veterans and other services.”

    Cemetery officials said it was done to comply with orders from Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in order to comply with their anti-DEI orders.
     
    Man, if i hear one more talking head on cable news say something along the lines of ‘it’s impossible to communicate how unprecedented this is’.. or ‘im trying to explain how not normal this is’.. or any statements like that- im gonna punch someone in the mouth… we all get how abnormal this all is .. ok, we understand- this is all really bad stuff.. every one of us with half a brain knows that the dummies are now in charge of America…… now for the love of god- TELL ME WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT…. Im not only talking about the journalists on tv, but the elected officials on tv as well.. I constantly hear how f***ed up all of this is, but almost NEVER hear about solutions or actions we can take…. If there isn’t anything to be done, if the only thing to be done is to roll over and take it and let American democracy die- then TELL US THAT .. this is not a time to play nice, all we want is someone , unlike the Chuck Schumers of the world, who is out there FOR US.. and is willing to fight for us .
     
    His base will absolutely eat this up.. it is all performative.. Trump thinks this is all a TV show, for ratings.. yet it has real consequences

    It’s no secret that Donald Trump loves to golf, especially at his own resorts. But Trump’s habit is costing US taxpayers tens of millions of dollars – even as he decries fraud and claims to slash waste in federal spending.

    Since he took office, Trump has fired tens of thousands of federal workers and tried to shut down agencies, part of his effort to unilaterally dismantle the government. He has also made seven trips to Florida and the golf courses he owns there.

    This weekend, Trump made his seventh visit to Florida and his sixth to his waterfront mansionand private club at Mar-a-Lago since his inauguration on 20 January.

    As Richard Luscombe noted in the Guardian last week, Trump’s frequent trips to his own properties not only cost taxpayer funds, but they benefit him directly – his businesses have charged the US government to house Secret Service agents and other White House staff.

    In other words, American taxpayers pay the Trump Organization for the right to protect Trump and his family.

    During Trump’s first term, his properties had a history of overcharging the Secret Service, by as much as 300% beyond the authorized government hotel rates, according to a report issued by Democrats in Congress last year.

    The report found that the Trump Organization charged the Secret Service as much as $1,815 a room per night to stay at the Trump International hotel in Washington DC – billing the US government significantly morethan the hotel did for “rooms rented by the Qatari royal family and Chinese business interests”……..

    A French politician is requesting the U.S. return the Statue of Liberty in the wake of President Donald Trump’s policies that appear to side with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    Raphaël Glucksmann, a member of the European Parliament, made the remarks at a convention of the Place Publique center-left movement Sunday.

    "Give us back the Statue of Liberty," said Glucksmann, according to Agence France-Presse. "We're going to say to the Americans who have chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for demanding scientific freedom: 'Give us back the Statue of Liberty.’”……….
