Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

Top Trump adviser Stephen Miller didn’t find the funny in a joke about President Donald Trump on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.”

The Trump White House deputy chief of staff for policy slammed the NBC sketch show as the “church of woke” after its “Weekend Update” segment anchor Michael Che mocked Trump’s claim that “no president has changed government faster” by cracking: “Yeah, and nobody changed airport security faster than bin Laden.”........

Asked for his take on Fox News, Miller fumed:

‘Saturday Night Live’ has not been culturally relevant in 20 years. ‘Saturday Night Live’ has not produced a meaningful talent since the 1990s. ‘Saturday Night Live’ has been the place where comedy goes to die. The only good thing that has happened on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in the last couple of decades were the times that President Trump hosted ‘Saturday Night Live.’

The anti-immigration hardliner wasn’t done, though, continuing:

We would all love to go back to the ‘Saturday Night Live’ that we grew up with but unfortunately because it’s gone woke, because it’s gone left, because it’s gone politically correct, ‘Saturday Night Live’ is now the antithesis of comedy.
And Miller, who only last month had be asked to “calm down” after flipping out during an interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar, concluded:

Unless and until they decide to be fearless and bold and brave, and actually mock and challenge the radical left and the church of woke, they are not ever going to be funny again.
The cold open of “SNL” also mocked Trump and The New York Times’ report of a bust-up between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and billionaire Elon Musk, who Trump has tasked with slashing public spending and jobs via the nonofficial Department of Government Efficiency..........

Searches on Google for “Trump” alongside the word “chaos” have spiked spectacularly in the first weeks of President Donald Trump’s second term, CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten said this weekend.

They are up an astonishing 320% compared to the same period of Trump’s first term, the journalist noted.

“This 46-day stretch that the Trump presidency has gone on has the most number of searches for ‘Trump’ and ‘chaos’ on record,” Enten explained.

“The American people are seeing this. They think that Donald Trump is like Butters in ‘South Park,’ he is Professor Chaos,” said Enten, referencing the villainous alter-ego of Butters Stotch in the adult-animated sitcom.

“That is what is going on,” Enten continued. “The American people at this particular point are going, ‘What is happening here?’ They are seeing Trump and they are associating him with the word ‘chaos.’”

Stock market investors “do not like uncertainty” or chaos, Enten noted.............

What an absolutely awful human being.

Also...EVERYONE thinks "their" cast was the best cast. Absolutely everyone. It has nothing to do with woke nonsense. It has to do with nostalgia and the impressionable age we were when we discovered the show.

Were these people not paying attention during his first term?

    Aw, Skeletor has a sad?

Not possible for me to care less about Stephen Miller’s feelings. His actions and psychosis are something else. He should be in a padded room.

And we have this nugget with the CDC being politicized.

They are already opening a new investigation into vaccines causing autism, which has already been investigated and decided. RFK, Jr didn’t like the outcome of all the previous studies, so he’s ordering new ones. Right here is waste, fraud and abuse.

Yeah, that guy needs to be punched in the face. There are a whole bunch of people in this administration like him, Trump, Elon and Vance that need to be punched in the face. Just a pure butt crevasse all the way around.

EWWW! Lara Trump Thinks Americans Should Be 'Kissing The Feet' Of Trump And Musk

“They’re attacking his character, they’ve called him a Nazi, they’re going after his businesses, they’re vandalizing property,” she said. “They’re doing any and everything they can to this man.”
She said the United States “cannot survive as a country” with its current levels of spending and suggested a different way for Americans to show their appreciation to Musk and Trump for the cuts they are making.

“People ought to be kissing the feet of Elon Musk and Donald Trump for being the two people to actually do this,” she said.

Except that the US government has spent more money in the last 2 months than they did in the same 2 months last year. When exactly do these massive savings start and when does the tariffs make us all rich?

This is absolutely not about government spending. If they were serious about government spending they would be cutting in places where they can actually make a significant decrease like the defense and military budget. Even if they cut the entire federal workforce it would only save a couple of percentage points. Certainly not enough of a savings to qualify the incredible chaos that this is going to reek on our nation over the next few years. I mean cutting stuff like veterans services and VA hospitals budgets makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

This is about consolidating power and selling out to Russia. Pure and simple in my book.

Maybe I missed it posted, but a judge blocked the removal of Palestinian activist who was unconstitutionally arrested by ICE thugs as directed by the thug in the White House

This entire series of events should make Americans very worried. Trump is bragging about deporting protestors he doesn’t like:

An official White House news release has gained attention for the choice of language used in it.

In a government website article titled ‘Yes, Biden Spent Millions on Transgender Animal Experiments’, the White House claimed former President Joe Biden spent millions on ‘making mice transgender’.

‘The Fake News losers at CNN immediately tried to fact check it, but President Trump was right (as usual),’ the White House wrote.

The press release came just hours after President Trump’s speech to Congress, in which he focused on what he called ‘wasteful’ spending of American tax dollars.

But the language used in the White House’s official release about this ‘waste’ has raised a few eyebrows. ‘Does a middle schooler run the White House website?’ one X user wrote.

Another added: ‘Never have I ever read such an atrociously unprofessional sentence. Not even feigning professionalism or unbiased at this point.’

Past US governments have had their own forms of language – with President Bush, ‘frank and folksy’ language was normal – but not in official documents and releases, historian and propaganda analyst Ian Garner told Metro.

‘That’s not the case with Trump anymore. The boundaries between institutions and politicians are ‘completely collapsing’, Mr Garner said.

‘It’s fairly well-established fact by academic research that when the state starts to talk in a particular kind of language, ordinary citizens start to talk in that language too,’ he added.

‘People at the “top” start to talk in this language too, often to the point where they can’t tell the difference between their “real language” and the language of the state.

‘We saw that in Soviet Russia, we saw that in Nazi Germany. You name the state, the more control the state has, the more the state can barrage people with this kind of language, the more it changes the way that citizens begin to frame their own perceptions as well.’

Citing the recent White House release, Mr Garner said ‘This sort of language sounds as if it could have come from one of Trump’s own social media posts – and it will become more and more normal.

‘We’re seeing it from the press officers, other politicians.

‘Reality is shaped by that language and I think we’re in for quite a wild ride in that we’re at a point where the American government – at least the institutions of the American government – can’t reliably be expected to publish material that is true and is based on reality.’...............

    The word is transgenic right?

Not transgender. Transgenic mice are a real tool for biological research.

    These people are complete morons.
