Midterm projections. (2 Viewers)

I've voted and election day is something like 5 or so days away. That means it's time for projections as to how it goes this time.

Usually I have a good sense, and good track record for being right using the simple time proven system of "who's turn it is". That's the method where one ignores everything about the current issues, and who is running. One only uses who's the incumbent along with the last election's outcome to predict the next election.

Under that simple system this upcoming midterm election is a case of it historically being the Republican's turn.

But this time it doesn't quite fit that normal mode. Trump threw it all out of whack. Republicans seem to be entirely capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory this time. So instead of thinking that the Republicans are going to win this one, I don't know.

That's my projection. I Don't Know. I'm a bit hopeful this time instead of being adjusted to the idea that the Republicans are going to win this one for sure.

If I may, this is like Kamara spiking the ball at the 5 yard line, and then he realizes the game isn't over yet. Unable to handle the embarrassment, he took the football home while saying the refs took too long to review the plays.

Sure, I guess they're in the likely column because they have larger leads. It's hard to predict what the remaining votes will do sometimes. We'll see.

Hard to feel sympathy when Republican voters keep voting in snakes like McConnel, Lindsay Graham, McCarthy as voices of the party, they're also making a mistake with Scalise as well. I've been saying it for years now, the blatant disregard and neglect to capture the mind of younger voters whilst boomers continue to die off is a way to ensure you lose many future elections.

That "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" toxic nonsense is going to get you murdered. Houses don't cost 1000$ anymore and college isn't a few hundred bucks where a summer job working at the local county fair can pay for it.

Definitely the biggest cognitive disconnect of those Horatio Alger types. The country and economy is in a vastly difference place than it was 30-50 years ago.

To be fair Kristol is a moderate R who supported John Mcain for POTUS. He's also anti Trump and realizes the damage he's
done.

I agree with him, lol. It would be poetic justice if she got the gavel. I'm not sure this is it, but if it meant the death of Trumpism, I'd totally be there for it.
