I figured we needed a thread specifically about the media.

There was a very big correction recently by the Washington Post.

That story was supposedly "independently confirmed" by CNN, NBC News, USA Today, ABC News, & PBS News Hour. How could they all have gotten the quote wrong if they actually independently confirmed the story?

Why do all the errors always go in one political direction and not closer to 50/50?

I have no interest in reading anything by him.

Do you agree with his statement that maga men and women will be looked on as worse than slave owners. Do you agree with that or not? I'm expecting another non-answer.
You know what? I have always endeavored to give you answers to your questions and you routinely ignore my questions to you. Why should I ever engage with anything you say ever again?

No. I am not going to give you an opinion about a single statement pulled from an op-Ed piece without any context or without me or you knowing whether it is even an accurate quote. You haven’t read what he wrote and you freely admit that. That’s ridiculous.

I will tell you this much. In my opinion people who support Trump at this point in time are not people with any morals. They are people who will excuse lying, cheating, stealing to get what they want.

Just as I figured. You will rail on and on about Fox News conservative bias, but you still try to claim the rest of the media like NYT, Washington Post are just biased sometimes.

Your favorite article disagrees with you:

How is that my favorite article? Once again you are trying to tell me what I think.

I will take your non-answer as you agreeing with his sentiment. Otherwise you could have easily said you don't agree with it.

This is someone else voicing an opinion. He does show his work, however. The language Trump is using mirrors Hitler and other fascist authoritarians.

I thought you always criticize when people you disagree post opinionsn or Op-eds? Why is it okay now?

Then you will once again be deciding all by yourself to ascribe to me something I didn’t say.

You won’t read the actual article to find out if he actually said that or what the context was and then you demand I comment on it. Well, I haven’t read the article either and I don’t care about it enough to read it. And it’s stupid to comment on a snippet without taking context into account.

That doesn’t mean I agree or disagree.

Sigh. All I have ever done is point out to you when you take an opinion as fact just because you agree with it. And yes, I will criticize you when you post an Op-Ed and treat it as fact without supporting evidence.

Yes, Harvard can manage that issue from within. It is hard to imagine why this matters so so much to someone in the conspiratorial right. Well, until you see a picture of her, anyway.

Why didn't the NYTs call it plagiarism since it was plagiarism?

Oooh, let me guess! It’s a vast conspiracy?

BTW, sometimes I just post tweets that amuse me. It’s not all that complicated.
