    I figured we needed a thread specifically about the media.

    There was a very big correction recently by the Washington Post.

    That story was supposedly "independently confirmed" by CNN, NBC News, USA Today, ABC News, & PBS News Hour. How could they all have gotten the quote wrong if they actually independently confirmed the story?

    Why do all the errors always go in one political direction and not closer to 50/50?

    I just saw yesterday where a document has been released showing that both the EU and the US had an official policy of removing Shokin. It was never Joe’s decision, he was just the person who carried out the directive.

    SFL: you are building your case on lies and deception. Quit reading your tweeters and read the original documents. They won’t tell you what you want to hear though. You will have to be willing to change your mind when presented with actual evidence.

    That's political spin because there is definitely evidence out there that Joe was involved in some shady shirt with Hunter. They do need to investigate further and that's what the impeachment inquiry is for.

    Evidence includes: an FBI source quoting Mykola Zlochevsky saying, “Five million to pay one Biden, and five million to another Biden," Hunter Biden's concordant note to daughter Naomi about how "unlike pop I won't make you give me half your salary," James Gilliar's quote about 10% to the "big guy," the use of pseudonyms in emails to Hunter, the list of shell companies that came out of IRS whistleblower testimony, the Devon Archer testimony about phone calls and Joe meeting with the likes of Vadim Pozharsky, the tapes of Petro Poroshenko agreeing to fire Viktor Shokin as he insists, "We don't have any information about him doing something wrong," and many other things.

    You may not find all this convincing, but you can't call it "no evidence at all."

    It's not evidence of Joe Biden being involved in anything. You are:

    1. Quoting Zlochevsky, who was basically run out of Ukraine thanks to the push to eliminate corruption spearheaded for the US by Joe Biden;
    2. Dropping a bunch of coded names used in conversations with zero evidence showing that Joe Biden actually had any knowledge of or participation in;
    3. Citing a text message with zero context, as well as, and;
    4. Some cherry-picked testimony from Devon Archer who ultimately stated that he has zero knowledge of any wrongdoing by Joe Biden and that Joe and Hunter spoke by phone daily and that during the calls conducted in the presence of Hunter's business partners that Joe Biden "never once spoke about any business dealings."

    My stance is that 1, 3, and 4 don't implicate Joe Biden in any way, shape or form, and everyone agrees with 2 that Hunter name-dropped his father to further his own personal interests. None of this actually points to any wrongdoing from Joe Biden, and this is after years of investigating and dragging people before committees.

    Does anyone have any evidence that Joe Biden was aware of and/or involved in anything illegal?

    Rupert Murdoch is stepping down as chairman of Fox Corporation and News Corp., Fox has announced.

    His son, Lachlan Murdoch, will become the chair of News Corp. and continue as executive chair and chief executive officer of Fox Corporation.

    "On behalf of the FOX and News Corp boards of directors, leadership teams, and all the shareholders who have benefited from his hard work, I congratulate my father on his remarkable 70-year career," Lachlan Murdoch said in a statement on Thursday.

    "We thank him for his vision, his pioneering spirit, his steadfast determination, and the enduring legacy he leaves to the companies he founded and countless people he has impacted," the statement added...........

    I saw this original post yesterday- and thought it was crazy at the time. Media shouldn‘t have naked political axes to grind, as this guy evidently does. Either he’s lying or that’s a $60 drink in the picture, which he neglects to mention:

    Him, and Kissinger hanging around this long is proof the good die young.

    He got community noted for clearly including his multiple scotches in his tab.

    Posting one statement doesn’t mean I endorse everything this guy has ever said. Why do you treat people like this? Are you able to comprehend that people can be complex? That they are able to hold different sorts of ideas, some good and worthwhile and some that are just wrong?

    You have got to get over this overly simplistic, trivial view of people as either all good or all bad. Take each comment for what it is worth. It’s okay to bring up people’s bad takes when it impacts the comment that was posted, for sure. But posting this - without any comment of your own, and without addressing the comment that was posted - is just not actually contributing to the discussion. Not helpful. 🤷‍♀️

    Also-I’m not going to spend any time reading the source material here because I simply don’t care enough to spend any time on it. But what you have posted has a couple of red flags. First of all-Daily Caller is the opposite of a neutral source here. Highly partisan and known to skew facts to fit a narrative. Numerous failed fact checks. Also, notice the nuanced language - “appeared to make derogatory comments”. So, even though this organization has no issue bending the truth they felt the need to qualify their statement about his comments. Big red flag.

    Does Angelo Carusone's use of derogatory statements nullify his opinion of Lachlan Murdoch?
    Ah, getting to the point so concisely. Ugh. Wish I could save time this way rather than writing out the stupid response above. 🤦‍♀️

    Ooh, I know - SFL must think that Lachlan is either Jewish, transvestite or Japanese!
