Looks like the fight is on with Israeli soldiers and civilians amongst the dead already. Question becomes, how long before we get dragged into this?

They are Nazi's in my book for what they have done to Gaza in just the past few days.
    Really?

I guess the world "Nazi" has lost all meaning.

Great, limit them, I'm not against it at all. But bringing it up now means you think they KNEW an attack was coming. How do you know this? And since you brought it up, I'm sure you have all their trading info that they trade prior to the attacks right? Or is this all conjecture.
I don’t have any inside info (unlike members of Congress). I for one look forward to Unusual Whale releasing their report to shine a light on when members of Congress took positions in their defense stocks.

Yeah, I don't get people throwing the Nazi thing around like this. The horrors of the Holocaust are unmatched in history.

There certainly has been genocides and ethnic cleansing that's happened since then, but nothing matches the breadth and scale of what the Nazis did, and in secret. The Germans definitely didn't want the world to know what they were doing.

which was debunked in the EE topic... maybe not everyone here has seen/read that topic (thats the only guess I got). Also, it is kind of sad to see that one at 42 pages, while this on here is a meager 9. We lost a lot of good posters when they migrated PDB over to here
I will have to go look up that post that debunked the meme. Given our history of destabilizing governments I just accepted it to be true.

Then why do you assume that they profited from this? And if they knew, wouldn't someone tried to stop the attacks first?

Plus show us where they took positions right before the attacks. Otherwise this is all throwing crap against the fan.

Inexcusable, the amount of Hamas hate and atrocities. They have turned it into we scorch you, or you scorch us situation and Israel will be sure to oblige them, along with many of the 2M citizens living in Gaza becoming “justified“ victims. A legitimate question might be how much oppression can Israel deal out, before people strike back?

I am very critical of Israel the underdog, who became the oppressors in their immediate vicinity for “security”. However, Israel has been in constant conflict with it’s neighbors since the beginning. Here you can blame the West who decided to take land from Arabs and plop down a Jewish State in the middle of them. I also feel sorry for the Israelis who were born into this and feel like they are constantly in jeopardy, trying to change policy to better fit in with their neighbors.

In the midst of war, Benjamin Netanyahu is a liability who can only make things worse. He must go:

nazism is a form of government.

He's not talking about the meme being debunked, but the idea that the $6b that was supposed to be unfrozen, and rumors were posted on FB and X claiming that Iran used the money to fund the attack on Israel when they haven't even touched that money yet. The $6b is all still there and hasn't been touched yet.

Yeah, sure, let’s not play in the space where the US has played a part in arming and utilizing evils to break down governments.

This foolishness has become one of our core competencies.
    Or core incompetencies.

Welp, I would actually put Stalin in there. From the terror-famine to the Yezhovchina he was responsible for multiple millions dead. What makes the Nazis so abhorrent was the methods along with the psychotic philosophy behind their actions. Stalin was indiscriminate and didn’t really have any attempted philosohical madness propping up his actions. It was authoritarian mindless power hunger.

To be sure, it's an ideology and political party, not a form of government.
Nazism is a form of fascism
and facism is another form of government

Hitler took Mussolini's form of fascism and added his own brand.

And you missed Samiam's point. I should let him speak for it, as I've already responded.

    True enough.

I want to point out that bringing up public figure's stock portfolio is to elicit anger against them. Sure those weapons stocks are moving higher. The implication, though, is that these office holders knew that an attack was coming, so that they invested before the attacks happened with prices reactively increased after? Otherwise, those public figure has the same info that we all have: that war causes weapons company to be more valuable. And we all expect that some kind of aid package will come, fair or not.

I'm sure any financial advisors would give us this info for short term investments.
I don’t think that congresspeople had actual intelligence that Hamas would attack. That being said sometimes the perception of impropriety can be just as important as actual impropriety. Cutting off direct access while in office would do much to improve the image of our elected/appointed buffoons.

if I had been paying more attention at the time, I'd be able to tell you what page. I think it was early on though. Maybe before page 20. Basically those billions they un-froze hasn't been released yet.

But yeah, I can't disagree with you. Once upon a time, Iran could have been an ally, but the US and UK helped overthrow a democratic government over oil. The results were this theocracy that has... well we are still seeing the effects of that decision decades later.

Eh, I understood his point. Just disagree with it.

And Nazism is more ideology driven than anything else. It's a different take on Fascism. That said, the Nazis were a political party long before they took power.
