    Anyone have any predictions?

If I had to put money on it, I would pick Sanders as winning.

But there will be more stories than just who wins. IMO - For Warren, Mayor Pete, and Klobuchar it could be feast or famine. A distant 5th or even 4th could effectively end a campaign. Obviously a strong 3rd, and certainly anything higher will provide a huge boost.
I think Warren might be best positioned to withstand a bad night given she has NH coming up next.

Auto correct did its thing on loosing out to save face of dropping out.

I was referring to a what if there did turn out to be corruption by Biden and Hunter when Biden was VP... Where there's smoke there's fire...

There wasn’t any corruption on the part of Joe Biden. To believe he was you have to be totally oblivious to most of the facts.

The people that want us to believe Joe was corrupt are counting on us accepting circumstantial evidence taken out of context.

The problem is that we all lived through these events only five years ago. It is not worth detailing this yet again, but the Republicans could have investigated this 5 years ago. They had more power then than Pelosi has today.

Hunter is a dirtbag. He was dating his brothers widow in 2016 after getting booted from the Navy for cocaine use.

Hunter has been a problem for Biden before Trump was elected.

We all know beyond absolutely any doubt that the Biden's were not involved in any corruption.

(Well, not really - but if we ALL make such conclusory statements we can fool oursleves, as well as each other, into believing it).

    I didn’t say Bo wasn’t corrupt. I’m pretty sure he’s a psychopath.

Joe didn’t do anything wrong, and there is no actual evidence to suggest otherwise.

The fact that people who had an interest in proving Joe was corrupt had the power to obtain that information decided not to is something you are going to have to overcome with more than circumstantial evidence and accusations of gullibility.

Let's just hope that Senator Graham was sincere when he said he would make certain the Biden's were investigated.

If there was anything there, Trey Gowdy would have been all over it.

Linsey Graham will do anything to protect Linsey Graham from Donald Trump. There is nothing he won’t sacrifice to stay in the good graces of Donald Trump.

One day we will know why.

You can replace Linsey Graham with Devin Nunez, Jim Jordon, Mark Meadows, Ted Cruz, Mike Pompeo, or Sean Hannity. The post still works.

But not Mitch McConnell, he does terrible things without being blackmailed.

I love that the Iowa caucus is essentially ranked choice voting.
It is impractical to use caucuses in large states, but I would love to see more states use some version of RCV.

Just providing a live analysis link from 538.

    One of the posts there..,

‪Just a reminder about just how unrepresentative Iowa is — the preliminary entrance poll data now says that 92 percent of caucusgoers a… https://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/iowa-caucus-2020-election-live/255234/‬

I do think that it is worth pointing out, but I also think that both parties overlook that in rural areas the problems of white peoples and minorities overlap more than in the suburbs and cities.

Focusing on race issues through the lens of urban issues can depress the non white vote in places like the Mississippi delta.

In these areas where white people and black people lose jobs to illegal immigrants on similar levels.

Even citizens who are Hispanic in rural areas are more likely to be negatively impacted by illegal immigration, for example. Democrats being labeled as for open borders does not sit well with people in rural areas.

Rural people tend to be socially conservative regardless of race. Democrats focusing on trans issues might put them off.

Imagine a 50 year old black man from Cleveland, Mississippi who could never vote for a Republican, but just doesn’t feel right about talking about trans people, and doesn’t care as much about climate change as he does his son not being able to find a job because Tyson has contracted out the jobs to people who don’t speak English.

That guy isnt going to be inspired to go vote for anyone.

If the democrats just focused on the socialist part of their agenda, they would improve turnout among their voting demographics and even steal some of Trump’s base.

Social issues don’t motivate millennials, and boomers are mostly conservative socially regardless of their demographics.

So, there are rumblings that Bernie supporters got ticked off at how some of the supporters of other candidates were realigning and at least started to leave one or more caucuses.

Anyone hear any more on that story?

I haven't heard that but hope it's not true..especially considering a lot of Yang supporters agreed to flip to Sanders.

    Yes.
Also have read between the lines of people hinting that the delay is because Bernie won and the delay will lessen the "bump" he gets from declaring a victory tonight to his supporters before going on to NH.

Crazy how Yang is one who actually had some ideas and thoughts the nation could stand considering and the debates were so screwed up he never really got a chance to discuss them there.
