I’m pretty sure this woman worked for Trump, and turned against him after Jan 6.

Why has Trump been hiding so much the past couple of weeks? Can he even do more than one event a week? My guess - I think he’s been stewing over preparing for Biden, who he was convinced he could beat, to now having a newly energized Democratic ticket. He’s tired and feels like he’s back down at the bottom of the mountain.

To a malignant narcissist like Trump, this is all very unfair. He calls it a coup. He calls in undemocratic (b/c Biden won the primaries). Of course this is idiotic - there’s no requirement that the person that wins the primaries stay in the race. Clearly Biden was not up for the task and it is in the interest of all of the United States that Biden withdrew. LBJ, similarly an incumbent, did the same thing in 1967.

I also think he loves this “coup” idea because he’s been accused of attempting a coup (a real one, and accurately), so in Trump fashion he starts throwing that word around like “everyone is doing it!”

He’ll also call Harris and Walz communists and end the conference with no questions.

Well, two things. They had to work to climb us out of the economic abyss that was the end of Trump's presidency. That took some time.

Second, they are working on it. Inflation has decreased substantially and prices have moderated.

But there's more work to do, which is her point, of course.

Let's put Trump's claim of having 100,000 people at any of his rallies in perspective. The maximum capacity of the Superdome is 76,468. Trump's claiming he's had 23,000 more people at a rally, than a sold out Superdome. Who's buying that?
